I just saved £5 on this by pre-ordering the new 2014 Godzilla steel. £26 shipped to States is a good deal IMHO.

The email Zavvi sent is misleading. It says save 5 gbp by buying this steelbook. When you click on the link, it then brings you to the offer page and says you have to add another Godzilla item, none of which are steelbooks.

Could you buy it with say Godzilla 3D (2014 Amaray) and then cancel Godzilla (2014) in a few weeks. That way you will have got your £5 off the Steelbook??

I do hope UK get a steely for 2014 version.
I'm guessing they have a shed load of copies of this to shift yet. Could be in the bargain basement in a few weeks...
I'm surprised we haven't seen a listing for the new film yet. In fact there seems to be a lack of new release titles in the UK at the moment. There are only a handful of titles announced so far and sadly they don't include titles from eOne, Fox, Sony, Universal or Warner. It seems most studios are dropping new releases in favour of cheap catalogue releases

I suppose. I have to make sure to remember to cancel though.
Can anyone tell me is there any real difference between this and the German release? I know Zavvi's is the 4K remaster, but isn't that only a fancy term for more colours on screen? I can't imagine there is any difference to the human eye.
Also the German one has extras the 4K edition has none.

So Zavvi still can't give this away, even when dropping it to £9.99 (providing you bought another item).. and yet someone is flogging this on Amazon for £49.99!!
