Now there’s rumours that Rockstar have zero plans to release a disc version lol

Yeah I’ve just seen that

But to be fair, if you want as many people to get it at launch and to double dip later, why tell people there’s a chance for a physical release.

I think I’m going to try and hold off just incase unless there’s a chance of a really cool collectors edition with a steelbook that I can put a disc in at a later date if they ever happen to do one.

Oh yeah I agree. It’s a tough one because I get that but it’s also their issue for not wanting to put discs into production in time because of possible leaks when I still believe this whole discless scenario is so they are the only people to make money because you’ll always have to buy a new game for a digital code eliminating resellers and second hand situations.

The fact it was only confirmed by customer service who are probably placed somewhere third world says it all

Tbh I'm completely ignoring that anyway, I'm not sure why anyone has given it any credit because the wording was very odd and didn't sound like it was confirming anything anyway. It's the Polish site rumour that gave me some hope but I don't know. I'm going to wait until the latest possible moment before release, if nothing has been announced then then I'll have to suck it up and buy digital. Also damn them for that pre-order Vice City pack. Looks so nice.

Yeah I'm going to see how long I can hold off, hopefully I can get to December and maybe, just maybe we'll hear more rumblings about a physical version to keep going until it actually releases. Who knows, we'll just have to play it by ear.

GTAV was re-released so many times since it's original release on the PS3, they will do the same with GTAVI so one of them has to be a physical version.
