Lootcrate is a subscription that sends you a themed box of goodies each month. its always 'nerd' gamer, superhero, comic book related. It's not worth the money unless you really like tshirts or there is an exclusive funko which was a first for them.

Well apparently there was 125,000 people who got a lootcrate. I dont know the amount of regular groots made but that is still a regular that will continue to be manufactured over and over to meet demands so you will have a big chance of seeing it in shops or online at RRP where as LC exclusive is not in production anymore.

Also, as crazy as people are for Groot, they've gone nuts for dancing Groot so expect the same hype and limited stock but always remember there will be more made and dont overpay! The safe option: pre-order

Pretty sure you can only get them from America. As popular as Funko has become they really aren't reaching out to us as much as they could be.

May seem crazy but some collectors are all about the boxes so want to keep them pristine. Not me, I collect OOB.
Its clear plastic. I guess it's just like how steelbook collectors use those clear plastic sleeves for protection.
