The Blob remake from the nineties is surprisingly good too. Written by Frank Darabont I think.

I love that movie, actors are horrible but a fun movie.

I was impressed with it too. Really enjoyed it. And great performance from the lead.

I was dissapointed with it when i went the cinema but it's grown on me a bit watching it on blu ray, still no where near as good as the original though.

I have tried to watch The Original Evil Dead about 10 times now, I just can't get into it.

Evil dead 2013, i thought it was a good movie, not fantastic but i enjoyed it.

Sww Mama yesterday night. Its good to see a more old fashioned supernatural horror that isn't filled with gore.
It movie was better thsn average, but relied more on jump scares and perpetual darkness than my liking.
Some of the scares were lost on me as it was so dark on screen I couldn't see what was going on!

Watched Mirrors the other night (the US remake of the Korean film 'Into The Mirror') again, enjoyed it much more second time round from when I first watched it a couple of years back. Wouldn't mind seeing the sequel now

watched fright night 2 2013 last night, it's not a sequal to the fright night remake but more of another remake of the original fright night, thought it was better than the first one.

Everyone to there own i guess, i think CGI in horror movies are pants.
in the remake of the evil dead apparently they didn't use any CGI.

WOW Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2, would they be region free buy any chance ?
