1. [ME#23] Inglourious Basterds
Finally, we are approved with the Inglourious Basterds Manta Lab Exclusive Steelbook. We've been working on this release since last September (not 2018) and took us 1 year to finally get the rights, design and final approval for this movie. It is one of our favorite movies of all time from Tarantino so we hope we've done a good job with the package. We had a plan to start the pre-order for this movie in late October but due to our recent late production and delay with the previous releases, we have decided to put on a hold until we finish all shipping up to The Shape of Water. Thank you very much for your interest in advance and we will release the information soon. OOoooooohh, That's a BINGO!

Got my package yesterday:

Both look great. Unboxing will follow shortly. Can't decide which one I'll open. Leaning towards the lenti, though. It'll profit more from removing the shrinkwrap I reckon.

My slip does dip in a bit like things had been stacked on top but you can only tell by touching it. You can feel the edge where the spine meets is slightly higher and dips in toward the middle.

It's the same with my copy. I suppose it's because of the embossing. Noticed the same effect on the The Revenant full slip.

On the single lenti, I get a kick out of seeing that Nazi foot sticking out, trying to flip off Lt. Aldo Raine. That alone makes the single lenti
my favorite edition.

Received my oc 2 days ago, my favorite is a toss between the fullslip and the single lenti. Really love the detail and the finish on the fullslip. And with the single lenti, you get the best of both worlds, nice lenti and the back has a really great finish (great combination of matte and glossy, just the way I like it ).
It needs to be appreciated more Great job, Manta!

Mine updated too as accepted so maybe our copies are cuddling next to each other at least until they reach the airport. Will be difficult for them to say goodbye.

I agree, the backside of the Lenti is awesome. I also think the steelbook corresponds best with this edition. All considered, the Lenti Full Slip is my favorite, but the Full Slip is very close behind.

Picked up my copies from the PO today, and whilst there's nothing wrong with the single lenti (crisp/clear effect with some awesome 'bossing on the back), the full slip is definitely my favourite! Not that I'm too bothered about numbers, but it was also cool to see I got #600.

I did think that but wasn’t sure. My revenant full slip isn’t like it though

I think Manta have done a fantastic job with this edition in particular and the release as a whole. The steelbook is simply amazing, but so is the finish of the backside of the Lenticular Full Slip. The lenti's also very nice and my copy doesn't even have the slightest of scuff marks. I'm also happy to report my steel is (almost) completely mint; it has a tiny round spot on the front where there's no paint, but I certainly won't bother them about that.

I couldn't be happier with this release! Manta Lab are on fire at the moment. It seems like they manage to surpass themselves with every other release. I thought The Greatest Showman was exceptional, but they got even better. I can't wait to find out what they're doing with First Man, and I'm also looking forward to receive my copy of Deadpool 2 in great anticipation.
One last word: Sealed collectors, you're missing out on a fantastic steelbook here. I'd highly recommend to unseal it. This beauty absolutely needs to be seen in all of its glory.
