Kick Ass 2 was one of my films of the year last year. would have gladly paid £30 for it and did pay almost that with packaging for the German version lol! It was a film I 100% had to own sealed and unsealed and would never have stopped complaining if it hadn't turned out to be one of the best steels ever made "imo, but then I'm biased lol" Worlds End disappointed me so didn't bother with the steel, it's not a film I could sit through twice.

This film I enjoyed and would watch again, but not at that price. Wouldn't bother me if this sells out, I can still get the amaray. I'm only buying quality finished steels from now on.

Agreed. I've pre-ordered the steelbook from Amazon but was having second thoughts with it (I'd likely just be happy with an amaray if I'm honest) and looks like Zavvi will have it exclusively anyway, so it'll likely get cancelled. The only thing this has got going for it really is the soundtrack bonus disc but it's not worth £22.99 at all. I could likely get the soundtrack separately (now if I wanted to...less in future) for £6-£7 and the amaray on release for £10-£12 I'm guessing.

I believe the movie is supposed to be quite good. If it's typical Coen brothers it should be good, I'm a big fan of their films. It's nice to see something different to the norm. The thing that bothers me is the silver matte finish if this is identical to the French version.

I will probably cancel as well if it does indeed turn out to be single-disc. I have the French steelbook on the way, and if Zavvi isn't offering the soundtrack then there's nothing new in this one.
