Sold my Play Iron Man at cost to help a close friend start his Marvel collection after I received my Blufans version.
Well you sold yours to a close personal friend, there you go. But most people would sell there's for a lot. And why, cause it's a collectible now? Yet zavvi can't sell an undisputed collectors item for a premium?
I bought mine for £10.99 and yes, I would sell it for £40 and then use the money to buy a different one (if I wasn't so lazy) as long as that £40 covered it.
I'm happy with the Play version, and I've made it a 2-discer anyway. I don't care which steelbook of Iron Man I have really, as long as I have one. I'd much rather have a copy of the FS version to sell, as that's the one I like the least (thick red border & blue banner - ugh), so would only be interested in how much it's worth, not the item itself.
As it stands, I'd only be interested in swapping the Play version for another one that's 2 discs. AFAIK, Zavvi's is only a 1-discer so that's a no-show. The Blu-Fans version (with the title on the spine at the right height) would suit me I guess.
Either way, as you can imagine, I'm not bothered enough to give it any consideration.
Can't wait till the iron man 2 version they'll bring out with a z box. Wonder how many people will order that deal
Its not been 100% confirmed yet if the Zavvi Iron Man Steelbook is 1 Disc or 2 Discs
Most of the time Zavvi don't even know themselves how many Discs are in a release until someone gets delivery
Everyone just wants a ZBOX insteadI don't know I cant think of any reason as to why its not sold out
I've not sold many steels on Ebay but those I have, have all been at cost price plus postage. What other people do doesn't really concern me. [emoji4]

The problem that most people have with this is not the price. It's the fact you have to purchase something else to get the steelbook that some have absolutely no interest in. And that useless something else is what's bumping up the price.
Maybe if Zavvi just came clean and charged £40 for the steelbook from the start, there wouldn't be as much uproar? I don't know.
But then, they'd just look like daylight robbers!! This Zbox thing is just a disguise for hiking the price IMO

Yeah, I do wish Zavvi would stop trying to shift copies of obscure movies starring no one you've ever heard of like Iron Man by putting them in their otherwise amazing Z-Boxes. It totally devalues them.

To be honest, I'm not even sure I want this steel even if they do decide to release it as a stand alone. Coming from a person who has EVERY Iron Man steelbook (except the German version) this is hands down the poorest looking of them all! I could be wrong as we don't have any in hand pics yet, but from the looks of it, there is NO WAY I would pay anything near £20 for this.

The Blufans version is available for less than the price for this on ebay. Which I'm sure will be a better release.

They've sold a steelbook only with a zbox, it's not the end of the world, it's doesn't need almost 30 pages of moaning, it's happened, if you don't want to buy it that's fine but can't we stop this ridiculously repetitive debate, people need to get over it, Zavvi can to be honest do as they please.
Can we have some discussion about the actual items instead of moaning constantly.
What do people (who are interested) think will be in the renegades zbox (and please dont' just reply, junk as always or something)
