Folks, we've already said our piece on this matter. As long as the posts are not attacking other members or third parties in an abusive and over the top manner, each is entitled to state her/his opinion. Posts stating that they don't like the way this release is handled have just as much right to stand as the ones that are in awe.

I haven't ordered it but a few ideas for the contents of the gift box could be one or more of the following:-
- IRON MAN POP VINYL BOBBLE-HEAD FIGURE
- IRON MAN HULKBUSTER ACTION FIGURE
- IRON MAN: THE SECRET ORIGIN OF TONY STARK - BOOKS 1 & 2
- IRON MAN CUFFLINKS
- IRON MAN MR. POTATO HEAD
- IRON MAN WALKIE TALKIE SET
- IRON MAN 2-IN-1 MASK SET
- THE AVENGERS ICONS T-SHIRT
- IRON MAN LUGGAGE TAG
- IRON MAN TRAVEL MUG

Some good choices but I think the iron man steelbook is just randomly separate and I don't think there will be any iron man stuff. I think based on the advert I am really hoping for Harley Quinn and deadpool stuff

To be honest I don't hate zavvi (never said that). Just being picky at what I buy and I am not interested in the things that they are offering. When I see something that I like I'll bite and order it.
Anyway back on topic, I just don't want to order the z-box to get the Steelbook. If zavvi did put up the Steelbook as a standalone order I'll buy it as I like the film a lot to double dip as well as liking the artwork.
Are we meant to believe that this steelbook is 'Exclusive to the ZBOX' and that when the ZBOX is 'Sold out' the steelbook is also 'Sold out' ?
If they made 1,000 / 2,500 / 4,000 ZBOXs, did they order 1,000 / 2,500 / 4,000 steelbooks ?
If this is true then we may not be given the opportunity to buy the steelbook by itself.
But, seriously, what I hope for and tend to believe is that it's 1,000 boxes and 2,500 steelbooks but I guess we'll know soon enough - or at least when all the ordered ZBOXs have been posted out - what the situation is
On the other hand, because I have no way of knowing how many ZBOX's were made up or how many steelbooks were printed, just suppose it was only 1,000 boxes - and 1,000 steelbooks - then this steelbook will be VERY collectable and, as the member above @Numanoid noted, this steelbook - even with the box @ GBP 39.99 in total - would be a very decent buy as you would be hard pushed to buy the original Play.com edition for under GBP 100 nowadays - and that wasn't limited to anything under 4,000 if I remember correctly.
As a matter of interest I've just checked the Bay and there are only two listed that I could see - 'IM 1" @ GBP 140 and 'IM 1 & 2' @ GBP 230 for the two - wow !

The play iron mans can sell for less than that, saw an iron man 1 the other day sell for £54 new& sealed. There is is one open on there now for a buy it now of 49.99 with best offer too. You'd be paying approx. GBP 40 / 45 for a box containing a steelbook 'worth' maybe GBP 24.99 and other stuff that you may have no use for . . .

I think not - for a 2-discer I'd guess GBP 21.99 or worst case scenario GBP 29.99 or any price point in between
