Man, I just got it and I was scared beyond belief, but in the end everything came in fine and dent free. Another successful order from Amazon.co.uk I feel you too Horhay with those damn flimsy card board envelopes

Man, I just got it and I was scared beyond belief, but in the end everything came in fine and dent free. Another successful order from Amazon.co.uk I feel you too Horhay with those damn flimsy card board envelopes

The first time I got one I had a couple of heart beats skip on me hahaha. Seriously though, it's scary when you see that happening. I wouldn't so much as cared if it was free and was going to use, but it's not free and I am going to put it in my collection. Only SB that came with little damage was Avatar, the bottom two corners in the front had very tiny part with paint of like it was scraping with the box the entire trip.

Just got mine today! Came perfect no scratches or dents in both Copys and it came in an envelope, all the way to Canada I'm impressed. My first steelbook that I've ordered online I've only gotten them from futureshop before this.

Got mine today from amazon uk came crushed the packaging is good for the corners but not the front and back

I emailed them so hopefully i will get another one not sure on the policy

amazon Uk sent me another copy of kick ass and they told me i could keep the damaged copy cause it was too expensive to send back.

I opened it up the bluray is region 1 but the 2 dvd's inside wont play in my player

Thats good news, hope your replacment arrives ok
Shame about the dvd's, buy a new player

I also just got my replacement copy Kick-Ass and it also came in in with a bit of a crease in the front. I wish the would put a bit of protective wrap around the cases when they are shipped off.

Hi JL, yes, unfortunately since the UK uses a different encoding for SD DVD's, you may have that issue with others that include SD DVD's from other regions.

Not sure if you're familiar, so sorry if this is a bit redundant, but I thought I'd include it for anyone else new to this.

North America uses "NTSC" standard for SD DVD's, but some other areas use "PAL". Any standard "Region A" (for Blu-Ray) player usually will not play PAL (Region 2 DVD), unless enabled with a hack (there are some players that will play them "out of the box").

While the actual Blu-Ray released in Region B (UK) may be "unlocked" and actually play in a Region A (USA/Canada) the same may not be true for any SD DVD's included since they use different encoding.

I dont think they use that company when sending abroad. I live in Norway. So I hope this works out.

When they come back after weeks of "sold out", I think they might be returned items, maybe with minor dents, scratches, etc.

A lot of "normal" buyers doesn't bother with these type of defecs.

i got a package from indigo starfish too, and i was like "who is this from??" opened it up and it was my kick ass.

thankfully no major dents. there was a small dent on the opening side and 2 tiny scratches. not mint mint, but not complainable.
