I was enthusiastic with this release, however, I am in for a Whole Bloody Affair release now.
It will probably be a two disc 4K release.

Not gonna bother anymore seems like they’re giving more to GBs now who screw you over on price. Seeing more and more sites listing these releases for double the price and having large numbers of each edition.

I never had the queue thing until this release and the spideys..

I think the reason why is getting harder to order direct ( maybe i'm mistaken here ) is because there is more collectors out there than before so the competition will be rude and fierce

You can't use films like Spider-man 1/2, Interstellar, Kill Bill etc as your basis for how these things work, they're the most extreme examples of how badly it's going to go.

Sounds like everything went more smoothly for you and yet I was lucky enough to get my order confirmed. I selected the full slip immediately after it went live but was then put into the queue for a couple of seconds; then paypal took a little longer than normal to open, after which I accidentally selected the wrong payment card and had to scroll down to change my selection. Yet, I still secured a full slip and I figure it must have taken me at least 30 seconds to complete everything. I went right back to the home page and it was sold out.

Easier said than done, I feel like anyone coming within the last year or so to this stuff is going to struggle to get into most GBs.

For mega popular titles like this it might not be the worst idea for the premium labels to commit a certain quantity to direct orders, just so it doesn't feel like getting your head stomped on when you try and order direct or at the very least us silly little customers have an idea of how bad the odds are going to be rather than going in blind everytime.

Spider-Man 2 was absolutely fine I got that no problem. And the queue I’ve been dealing with for years. Im checking out faster than I ever have and still not getting it lol something is off with how they’re doing it, then you see multiple sites selling for ridiculous prices so either they’re using bots or manta is giving more copies away than they’d usually do

Grabbed the FS. Got into the queue for a few seconds before it re-directed me to the payment page.

It’s been really hard to get anything direct now. OC and FS sold out in under a minute and all the rest in under 2 minutes.

The queue is to blame for being able to snag any of the Spider-man 2 copies. That one was a savage bloodbath
