I've been waiting for an announcement for Breakdown (1996 with Kurt Russell) to be released on Blu Ray for years. I loved that film.

Lo and behold, I've just watched it on Netflix in what appeared to be HD.

So there seems to be a HD transfer out there for it. Fingers crossed for a BD release soon.....

True lies is on BD in Spain.....

Although it is a bootleg, it is really recommended. I bought this a while ago and was very surprised how it looked and sounded. It's probably the best release available but certainly not a letdown. Oh, and it was so much fun

James Cameron simply isn't motivated to get either film done. If he were the they would have seen a Blu Ray release years ago. There is a good chance these movies don't come out in any high resolution format in Cameron's lifetime.
