It's definitely a mark up on the original steels. No doubt in my mind. May not be perfect but it certainly moves the needle forward.
It’s growing on me. That slip needed a little more attention that’s about it. Steel is nice and the extras too

@AstroC13 , @JinxyKatte , @Flloydo , thanks for the pics and thoughts. It made me finally decide to cancel. No white base. Cillian Murphy look a little bit blurry. Glossy has a disastrous orange peel effect. No real effort on the slipcase. I will wait for a real premium release.
its not 10/10 for sure but This is probaly the best version we will get unless somehow manta can pull it off but i read universal has left the hong kong market.
The manta nolan collection will be incomplete without it

I ´ve canceled the UK and German orders and kept only the cheapest Italian version now. 40€ is ok for this. Real shame about the slip and steel indeed looks kind of blurry and not much of an improvment from the WWA´a except the gloss. The gloss is weak, colors are muted and it looks really dark, the gloss is not really helping here :/

Compared to the original WWAs from last/this year. This one is like night and day. Honestly.
You really need to compare the two in hand opposite each other.
The new one is leagues better. I'm looking right at it. Mine arrived whilst I was at work. It's like 75% brighter, cleaner, no streaks.
Since when have we decided that this isn't good enough?
In comparison to the previous it's so much better and for the price - cheaper than a premium - it's absolutely bang on.
If we hadn't already seen this released, everyone would be shouting from the rooftops how good it was.

Just opened mine up, and whilst it's not perfect, it's a nice set.
If we overlook the art choices, there should've been gloss on all the metal bars on the slip, and a white base in the centre of the steel... otherwise, no real complaints from me. The steel is leagues ahead of the WWAs and the book is fantastic.
