The blufans version is still my favourite steelbook ever, artwork is amazing - as visually stunning as the film. Seeing the artwork re-used for a Zavvi release is a surprise but great for those who don't want to part with £45+ for the BluFans. This doesn't need embossing though IMO, Blufans had it perfect - flat with gloss, just copy that

I've ordered this, I've still not seen the movie yet, I can't really get over the price, it's not like zavvi to sell a Disney 3D steelbook for just £16.99:OMG: I know this film has got mixed reviews here, but for the price I thought it's worth giving it a go:happy:

I thought this film was quite enjoyable, with awesome (and well done) visuals - not sure what people dislike about it. Is it automatically awful because it's related to a beloved classic? (I hate to call it a remake or even a reimagining). It's a great companion piece to the '39 film, as much as Return to Oz was. It's not perfect, but it's well done and I find it very engaging. As far as the steelbook, Zavvi should consider doing slipboxes or lenticulars. You know, change it up a little. This is still a beautiful steelbook.

Glad I jumped on this quick. Have always wanted the BFs version, but wasn't prepared to pay. This is a perfect second best for me.

I loved the film too, it's a great backstory to the Wizard, and enhances the original (sequel?) can't wait to watch it again.

This is a bit of dilemma for me. I find the artwork really attractive (full print from front to back!), but review sites and most fellow HDN members are saying the movie is mediocre.

Decision.. decision.. decision......

Exactly this + 1

I love the look of the steel ..... but I don't think I'd ever come around to watching the movie. Once was painful enough :wtf:
