Very tempted to blind buy this after Memories of Murder which ended up being one of the best films I’ve ever seen.

Not sure its a great blind buy. A sort of niche (ish) film. Like many of Wim Wenders films. Definitely check out some positive and/or negative film reviews before hand if you can. Good to get a balanced perspective from unbiased articles.

Just got round to watching this for the first time... In absolute awe. What a film. So much time taken to set up every scene and shot like it's the most integral part of the film. The lighting and framing are something else.

Could someone who is better versed with previous releases enlighten me, were the colours always so absolutely bloody amazing. I imagine this 4k with HDR has enhanced them but was it known for the striking colour? The contrast in the palette across shots is just incredible. Completely blown away! Also my first foray into Wim Wenders. Instantaneous doth of the cap. I just love discovering fantastic new (old) films and directors

delighted you watched it and enjoyed it. i know that it's not for everyone, but i think it's a masterpiece.

my prior copies always felt washed out and very faded-in-the-desert in appearance. i've not watched the whole film again yet, but when testing the disc, i was also blown away by the vibrancy.

Honestly looked gorgeous. The sky in particular. Whilst it was the night-time outdoor scenes which really blew me away further. Sounds like HDR has really enhanced it then. This film deserves it. I thought the Wim Wenders intro at the start was great too. Maybe drop back in with your thoughts once you get round to watching it again.

I only saw it for the first time when this release came out and it really does look superb, especially colour wise.

It is an absolute masterpiece. If you've not seen Perfect Days by Wim Wenders, that's also a masterpiece.
