The weakest of the trilogy but still a classic,
Steppenwolf (2024)

Had high hopes for this but gave up after about 20 minutes due to the female character being so annoying and off-putting.
Probably unfair to give it a low rating based on such a short viewing but hey...

This is absolutely stunning in 4K Dolby Vision...
Reference quality and one of the finest 4k presentations out there.
The greatest sci-fi movie ever made (in my opinion)...
The good, the bad and the ugly 4K

Absolute classic, great Dolby Vision transfer.
One of the greatest movie finales ever and some of the best cinematography I've ever seen. Groundbreaking in every way.

I know this is generally considered to be a reference quality release, but it's not perfect, in my opinion, with overly thick grain in some scenes but when it looks good it looks GREAT.
This was one of my go to movies as a test when we first got a 4K tv and, admittedly, I struggled with it, expecting everything in 4k to look flawless, however, as times passed and I've got a better understanding of 4k I've come to appreciate the love for it more.
Great movie...

A lot of love for this and Prometheus and will always consider the Ridley Scott entries to be the best Alien movies, although I know most would disagree. The mythology, ie, the religious undertones really sit well with me even if they don't with others.
Each to their own...
I'm right, of course, everyone else is wrong

ALIEN ROMULUS

Finally got around to watching this today and holy smokes, man. Talk about a rollercoaster thrill ride of old time Alien love. To me this movie was sensational!!! And the end of this bad boy really weirded me out in the most spectacular way!! Really, I can't say enough good about this most excellent entry into the franchise. This badboy rest squarely and proudly on a whole bunch of Ninjas!!!

Still a reference quality 4K release despite its age (2016).
One of the most visually stunning 4K discs I own.
No Dolby vision, no Dolby Atmos but it looks and sounds stunning.
F#CKING outstanding....
And yet there's never been a premium 4K release which just seems criminal!!!

The 4K Second Sight transfer of this with Dolby Vision is outstanding.
An absolute classic with stellar casting.
The chemistry between the driver and Irene is electric and
the elevator scene
is a thing of both beauty and horror.
One of my all time favourites...

I've had this in my collection for some time but just last night finally got around to watching it. Holy smokes, man. What an exceponal film!!

I had no idea Cillian Murphy was in this, but really, the acting all around is most excellent, as is the story and screenplay. Don't want to give anything away but it's always satisfying when the scumbags get theirs.

My highest recommendation, man. Will watch this again before too long.

My favourite Tarantino movie, gorgeous in 4k with one of the greatest soundtracks ever.
One of my all time favourite movies, probably my #1...
Yeah dude, I completely agree with you, man.

As much as I love Pulp Fiction, and I do, I was surprised when Django Unchained came along and snatched that top spot. Given that it did, and I thought that could never happen, imagine my surprise when I had to proclaim at the end of viewing this..this.. MASTERPIECE, that it was clearly Numero Uno in my heart of hearts.

Tarantino's imaginative greatness has no bounds. The dude is simply superior.

I envy you to get to see this for the first time. One of my all time favourites. Saw this (again) last month as a cinema rerelease before 28 Years Later. Still holds up today. Glad you finally found this

P.S. Ensure you see the alternative ending too. That is great.
