Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) in IMAX 2D
I can actually understand why people don't like this movie. Especially casual movie-goers. This was everything a fan could ask for. This is not Man of Steel 2. Each characters were given just enough time for overall story progression. Spectacular story driven fight scenes. Music was perfect as well; complimenting the scenes as required. I had my doubts about Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot but I have zero complaints about their take on the characters now.
I did feel Superman was underused; showing only one emotion throughout the film. They could've spent a bit more time on the trio's background stories but the movie was already 150mins long so I can let that go. I'm actually hoping that will be fixed on the extended cut of the film.
The only scene that didn't make sense to me first was the "Knightmare" scene, but after reading up on it, it makes sense
All I will say is if you don't know who Darkseid is, look him up.

Aw man. I hope you'll have it by when JL comes out.
So here is a quick review on my second viewing V : Dawn of Justice (2016) in UltraAVX 3D
Let me get the bad out of the way. 3D was absolutely worthless. There was no need for it because there wasn't any memorable 3D moments. Even during the action scenes. So I suggest not to watch it in 3D. I feel like you'll like the movie more if you watched it in 2D. Doomsday was good but wasn't good enough. I hope they bring him back and do some justice. Or else he'd feel like a mindless maniac that got beaten.
Other than that, I enjoyed every minute of the movie from start to finish. Couldn't have done a better job. If they tried, they would've lost something else in the process. Oh Wonder Woman's theme song is an instant hit! Can't stop listening to it.
Now I cant wait to watch the extended 180 mins cut on BR

I think I would've liked the movie less if I watched the trailers before. Good thing I stayed away from them.
I watched the trailers after and O M G! they reveal everything! One of them is actually 3 minutes long.
Any other criticism for the movie? The good, the bad, and the ugly? Don't worry I wont bite.
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY
(Double Feature at Cinemark Theater Irvine, California)
As awesome as they ever were. And I had never seen ACO on the big screen before, so what a treat. Kubrick's films really need to be seen on the big screen. The detail is exquisite - and easily missed in home viewings. If you have the opportunity- don't pass it up. (This is my second big screen viewing of 2001 in 6 months! (The first being at the Cineramadome in 70mm a few months back)).
Five hours has never so delightfully flown by. Kubrick is still the yardstick.
Cinemark will have THE SHINING in the fall.
