In hand my hardbox seem's a little squashed in and as you say curved, shame the steel's don't fit the box properly...
just from what I've seen of the hardbox, its not hard at all. Its just think and bendy cardboard. Should be a solid straight line IMO.
Had there been no gaps I'm sure it would hold back the natural curve and look better - yes, am judging from look here as the curve, to me personally, looks horrendous :(

if interested, there's some other in-hand shots and descriptions of aspects of the blu box, including fit, from myself, @chunk (here), @misformatt (here) and @sunnyx above. imho, my box isn't flimsy at all and the steels fit. looking at the comments, possible there's some variance between copies. :)
just read through them all. Guess the curve makes it look worse than it really is then?

i must say i took my lenti out again if it looks ok most positions but if i look at it just right angle it looks perfect and you can see between the 2 white shirts. Its a shame its not like that at all angles though
Same. Its good enough for what I've paid(average of £20 less than a Korean import) so am fine with it. But am also hoping improvements will be made with each consecutive release(this is the first after all) and we'll be seeing products to rival the others :)

No, I think you need to think a little bit more like a collector. Never said not to judge an item from visual checks. What happens if you dont open the steel and there are damages you cannot see internally? And when you do open it and discover the damage it be too late to make a claim? If you are referring to visible checks on an opened steel, fully examined inside out and all the goodies, that's fine. But you never said that :D
You said you cant tell by looking. If am item is opened(which 99% of mine are) then its easy to check, visually(tilting to the light etc) for flaws or damage.
Plus its logical to open a potentially damaged item in order to check FOR any actualy damage. If a person chooses not to, then thats on them and they are free to make that choice but its a bit silly to not check and item with evidence of potential damage, as am sure you'd agree.

If you chose not to open it them techncially the unopened 'internal' damage you refer too is negatable - if you cant see the damage, is it really damaged?(if a tree falls and no ones around to hear, does it make a sound....) ;)

lastly, maybe I was wrong to assume what 'internal' meant, inside the product package; so each bit, ie the cards, the disc, the steel etc. They are not internal parts but part of the package/product :)

The white box I received was padded well and the quality of the carton was good. No crushing.

I've had crushed parcels before...Namely from Blufans when they use really small cartons.

IMO - Royal Mail handles parcels really well as it goes through their distribution and delivery to the end customer. Hermes stacks them high and tight in their delivery vans.

Anyways, Hermes appears to have been dropped for UK delivery for the next release. Long live Royal Mail
agreed - way bigger box than those Kimchi and Nova use, so was impressed with the procautions taken there (obviously my copy arrived mint as a result, with only one small dent on the undeside of the box)

Go back and re-read the posts please. Your reply did not state that you were opening the steel to examine for damages. I answered back what you replied in a very simple manner. The clarification is in my previous response.

if a box has been booted around and you see no visible damages does not mean there isn't internal damages. Internal damages can easily be sustained which you cannot see or feel under the seal,

If your answer was correctly clarified and stated that if you opened the steel, examined this inside out and there were no damages you be happy still, I can understand why you would be happy and you should be . But you did not state that. Anyway I'm not going to go back and forth with this.

Looking more for pics of crushed Bluboxes caused by Hermes "crappy handling" but these don't seem to be forthcoming
I can see that EBlu's packaging is top of the class and I can't imagine anyone complaining about THAT . . . oh, wait, there's bound to be someone . . .

BTW The decision to use Royal Mail for THE MUMMY COLLECTION was the original decision (something to do with the weight if I remember correctly)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
. . . and for the premium elitists here's some postal apartheid
Premium release delivery to premium address -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Regular release delivery to regular address

. . . and finally for Royal Mail fans:-

. . . if all else fails, stick this on the front door:-

I'm not too worried about dents / crushing on a carton so long it's padded well...My main concern is the speed and interception of the delivery...and this is the main fail with Hermes. If you are out most of the time - You can't arrange an alternative delivery location once the parcel is in circulation. With Royal Mail - I'll be carded and pick up at the local delivery office at my own convenience.

EverythingBlu Can you do the decent thing and update the people who are still waiting for dispatch?

A friend of mine pre-ordered when it went live. Not despatched. No update. No Apology.
(He isn't involved in social media and you have apparently ignored his email asking for information)

Your customer service is a disgrace, I'm glad I cancelled my order and you'll never see another from me.

I managed to get a reply on Facebook around this time last night, seems like the best way to contact them at the moment. I emailed support on Friday and never received a reply.

Mine finally arrived today. Seems like a rush job they did yet they had five months to prepare everything. My box had #189 and one of my steelbooks had #189 but then the other steelbook had two in it, #190 & #191; go figure.

Very disappointed with the zombie hand on the back of the box/shelf. Ok the white foil didn't work for them, whatever; but the front and the spine of the box/shelf has just regular white inside the debossing, so why couldn't they have just put the regular white inside the zombie hand instead. I can't even see the hand unless I hold the box up to the light at an angle and then it's not very definable. Had they kept the zombie hand with a white foil inlay or just regular white like the front and the spine you would be able to see the hand perfectly. Don't tell me it's because Universal had to have their logo right in the center on the zombie wrist. If that was why I would have opted for the Universal logo to be placed either on the left or right so we could have kept the white hand. Very disappointing. (n)

EPIC Fail

Yeah not liking this anymore seriously can't even get the same number's. I went for the Blu Box for the Box and the FS never really wanted the Lenti. I might just cancel my order. AFAIK my order still hasn't shipped.

Glad I pasted on The Mummy but was really looking forward to Hot Fuzz.

Damn, looks like EB can only count from 1 to 89 and then anything between 90 to 100 is guess work for them!

Same issue as me mate, got 2 92s and a 91

I still haven't even contacted them because I genuinely can't be bothered to be palmed by them and not get a response and if it is sorted wait over a month for a dispatch just for a card.

I've also noticed like a black biro mark on my box. Never see that before

I should really contact them though so they are aware of their epic fail

Cheers @CleverLoginName

I do wonder how long EB will last tbh, so many cancelling for refunds etc this isn't good for their first main release. Think mummy will be safe but after that who knows. Maybe hot fuzz, casino etc won't happen because of all this
