Looks like a high contract thick coating which is a rarity these days. Once again credit to FA for going the extra mile.
Hands down one of the best looking steels I've seen in a long time. BUT..... is it me or it is that a matte finish ?! Can't quite see the gloss if it is.....
It crossed my mind as well, but I think it´s just a bad photos. If you look at the upper side of the steelbook you can see how the embossed wing of vulture is shiny...it must be gloss...
Yeah I see what you mean, does look glossy there. But, the black under the title looks suspiciously matte to me, so I'm getting confused on that one!
If it's spot gloss, I'll be happy with that, full gloss, even happier, but matte? Please say it ain't so

but then again, I just think it´s a bad light angle. Besides, Jan confirmed on fb few weeks ago it will be full gloss....

Filmarena are just extremely bad at taking good quality photos as usual. Should be full gloss.
Got to say we've been fortunate recently with a bunch of v. nice Spidey steelbooks and good ro see that the great run has not been not interrupted by these 3 lovelies for HOMECOMING - each as good as the other in different ways
