No chance in hell. I can in thinking this was some special Blu Ray box set and I see its 6 picture books? Really...Really? For 3 grand? I have better things to do with my money even if I had it. Give me a hyper detailed model of the Millennium Falcon, X-wing, Tie fighter, Deathstar etc etc over a book anyday.

I said IF I had the money :)

These 1138 copies cost over 3 million dollars EEK!

They're just milking the brand these days, have you seen that Star Wars Kinect game? yeah...

I bet Lucas and his executives had a board meeting and had a contest to see who came up with the most ludicrous idea to see the limits of what Star Wars fans would pay for; needless to say, the guy that thought of this garbage won.

I'd love to travel back in time, kidnap George Lucas circa 1977-1980, bring him back to the present, and introduce him to his future self.

Sorry in advance if this post makes any fanboys cry.

I just read at amazon "could be wrong" that this series is even more limited then orginally planed?? This is what i found ...

"STAR WARS: FRAMES is strictly a limited to a signed and numbered series of 500."

Im still struggling to get or not to get....

Did wish it had the films with it though...

Take care
John

I think there are so many additions to the movies, this is marketed for more of the public that enjoy luxury collectibles at its finest and approaching very limited additions from a different angle as opposed to going straight to the movie which I am sure everyones got. I am actually quite seriously debating to get this fine collectible. Like you said before, very limited and can be worth something later. Even if it doesn't, its a gorgeous collectible, expensive wood, and no cheap metal emblems.
