Here's a main thread for the upcoming Star Wars Wave being released in the Canada.

Thought we could use this just so everyone has a place to navigate towards any of the titles easily, without having to search through the forum.

Hum .. I'm wondering if BB can price match Costco ...

I think it would be prudent to pick up the Costco ones for now and see if BB will reduce the price around Christmas time. Costco has at least a 90 day return policy and at the moment, BB will refund the difference for almost 2 months if you buy it from them.

Cheers!

Strange how the UK and European releases are region free and the USA and Canada are locked to region A.
Ordered these from Canada was hoping to be region free, sure I read somewhere that was the case.

Hi. Got these today from Amazon.ca.
Plays without a problem on my PAL-Playstation3.

Glad to hear that, mine are coming from USA and the post a couple above freaked me out a little

Don't know about your stores, but I was in Walmart over the weekend, and these were almost sold out. I would say 5 copies of each title left after having a massive display.

Dunno about you guys... but starting around Dec. 18th, the Star Wars mania will be CRAZY and even if the print run on these is enormous, the demand for Christmas presents will be huuuuuugee!!!!

So, I prefered to buy them right now. Pick perfect mint copies (even replaced Ep V today in store as it had a big scratch on the back). Pay a more than ok price ($15+tx each) instead of trying to wait for the eventual lower price with all damaged copies by people who don't care (exemple: Harry Potter steels collection that were left on the shelves for months...)

Unlike Fox's International releases, which accurately state the region code of the discs, Fox's North American releases invariably state, on both the packaging and the disc label, that they are Region A even when the discs are actually Region AB or ABC.

These discs have been confirmed to be identical to those previously released.

I have the earlier US 'Complete Saga' DigiBook, released in 2011, and I can confirm that the discs are indeed Region ABC.

FYI...

I was at my local BB earlier and thought, what the heck, it's only $16 bucks, but I wonder if they'll match the Costco pricing that @Drum18 and others had shared in this thread. The SteelBooks aren't shown on the Costco website, so I simply showed them the picture pasted in this thread and they matched it! ;)
