Normally they DON'T as you need a membership to buy there.

I think it would be prudent to pick up the Costco ones for now and see if BB will reduce the price around Christmas time. Costco has at least a 90 day return policy and at the moment, BB will refund the difference for almost 2 months if you buy it from them.

I used the form "Order" instead of "Price Match" under Contact Us ... it's faster cause you can claim for all 6 steels and you don't need a link.

I'm using my OT steelbook to hold my Empire of Dreams DVD, and the 2 non-PT extras discs from the 9 disc box set, so it still has some use.

Also, easier to do exchange in case of damaged at BB compared to other retailers...

Strange how the UK and European releases are region free and the USA and Canada are locked to region A.

Don't know about your stores, but I was in Walmart over the weekend, and these were almost sold out. I would say 5 copies of each title left after having a massive display.

Dunno about you guys... but starting around Dec. 18th, the Star Wars mania will be CRAZY and even if the print run on these is enormous, the demand for Christmas presents will be huuuuuugee!!!!

So, I prefered to buy them right now. Pick perfect mint copies (even replaced Ep V today in store as it had a big scratch on the back). Pay a more than ok price ($15+tx each) instead of trying to wait for the eventual lower price with all damaged copies by people who don't care (exemple: Harry Potter steels collection that were left on the shelves for months...)

Unlike Fox's International releases, which accurately state the region code of the discs, Fox's North American releases invariably state, on both the packaging and the disc label, that they are Region A even when the discs are actually Region AB or ABC.

These discs have been confirmed to be identical to those previously released.

I have the earlier US 'Complete Saga' DigiBook, released in 2011, and I can confirm that the discs are indeed Region ABC.

FYI...

I was at my local BB earlier and thought, what the heck, it's only $16 bucks, but I wonder if they'll match the Costco pricing that @Drum18 and others had shared in this thread. The SteelBooks aren't shown on the Costco website, so I simply showed them the picture pasted in this thread and they matched it!
