Even if so it is just so we can get a CE for Tokyo Drift I'd be up for thatwhere's 2 Fast 2 Furious Collector's Edition?
20th anniversary release did not have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos it was HDR 10 and DTS:X20th anniversary set was better.
Why are wasting time with a another set, where's 2 Fast 2 Furious Collector's Edition?
DV will likely be the only small upgrade. Atmos, when it has a DTS:X track already, whilst I appreciate it definitely can be better, it sometimes turns out to be a downgrade or negligible difference.20th anniversary release did not have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos the 25th does
Exactly this. The UK booklet is a 40 page book not in the International Version, For the mock up packshot I have used the same booklet art as the scriptbook but it will likely change for the final release if I can get artwork signed off by Universal in time ;-)2 booklets going by the mock up if it's correct
Movie Script
Production Notes
UK booklets artwork TBC
Closer to release date I expect to be more clear
Will they be hardback?Exactly this. The UK booklet is a 40 page book not in the International Version, For the mock up packshot I have used the same booklet art as the scriptbook but it will likely change for the final release if I can get artwork signed off by Universal in time ;-)
it’s a shame universal can’t sign off on just better artwork all around. Steelbook looks like a PlayStation game it’s so bad. Slip is okay. When the better more superior artworks are on the booklet and one side of the poster then it’s not good. Just like EraserExactly this. me too. I am talking to them but I think it is likely going to be a Spirit Entertainment release in the catalogue windowAlso where is the Obsession steelbook? That’s what I want to see from Universal
This is all Universals artwork, it is only the UK booklet that has been added and will need approvalsit’s a shame universal can’t sign off on just better artwork all around. Nice to hear the cogs are turning but I thought that kind of film would be a guarantee considering how well it’s received and the money it’s made them.me too. I am talking to them but I think it is likely going to be a Spirit Entertainment release in the catalogue window
Is it different content from the 20th AE booklet? The UK booklet is a 40 page book not in the International Version
Spirit Entertainment are the UK distributors of Universal product and have been for about 18 months. I used to work for Universal and now work for Spirit. Some special editions come from Universal like this one (excluding the additional book) Some are made entirely by me at Spirit ie recent releases of Wild Robot, Nosferatu, Dracula Legacy. Some are a mix of Universal steelbooks and Spirit produced parts ie Casino, Casper, upcoming Howard the Duck. With Obsession, I don't think anyone knew how big it was going to be and is too late to get a steelbook manufactured in time for new release. So if Universal do not decide to do one, I will do a special edition. Have been talking to them about it already. Timing TBC but will be 2027Nice to hear the cogs are turning but I thought that kind of film would be a guarantee considering how well it’s received and the money it’s made them.
Sorry, what does spirit entertainment mean? I guess by catalogue window you mean after 2 or so years of release?
Thanks for the questions, the script book has no pictures but is 110 pages long and is the final shooting script. There are no notes but loads of directions for the action and chase scenes. The new booklet is 40 pages of behind the scenes stuff and is entirely different content to the 20th Anniversary edition which had a small book of script excerpts and a small book on cars . This is packed with photos and is more like the books you find in recent UK Universal special editions. Is it different content from the 20th AE booklet?
Will the script book have any pictures or notes or something, if you know?
Thank you!

Yes please! Very underrated film in the Fast franchise. Loved the steelbook design they did for it a while back. Gave it a neon esque vibe which worked well with the Tokyo settingIf you guys want it I will make it!!!at least it will have different character cards in it
