I chatted with an amazon.de agent a few weeks ago and he already confirmed that the rerelease was identical with the 1st release. He somehow made it sound as if they only sold half the stock last time and are now selling the rest. Not sure information like this would even be made available to customer service people... however, the "first" edition was sold out almost too fast though!!

That actually makes some sort of sense. This steel was never good enough to go out of stock so quickly and you wonder where the popularity of this one comes from given that the white Japan Matrix was the worst seller of that wave.

It makes you wonder if they can put in a black interior how hard would it have been to put some artwork in there.

So then inside art is different in the re-release. Wish they had kept sticker on in the re-release... Makes first release barely of any extra value.

Correct but the inside has a nice Green-ish tint to it, instead of the plain steel like most steels with no inside artwork
