Im making a comment about the atrocious jiffy bags and pathetic packaging more than anything else. I import a lot from usa to uk ,but try my best to avoid steelbooks as 90% arrived damaged.Trying to understand what the retailers have to do with if and when a product is released in certain countries.
You actually think they have any influence? Like, "yeah we could sell this really popular film but why would we, money? Pah, who needs that!"
Solely doen to distributor where and when films get released
Its already available on apple with dolby atmos, normally a good sign the physical edition is pending. This is Disney, if this won't be available world wide I'd be really surprised. Look at Tombstone, Master & Commander, Rocky Horror Picture Show, the Disney+ stuff.
True, BUT - this does, after all, take (almost) entirely inside a computer (or advanced Arcade game) and all are basically programs and generated inside this computer thingy - try to think about it as bad programming, or less than optimal code, inside tronland (some are simply just badly programmed constructs and some not (maybe to go easy on the memory usage or cpu power )Really?? Hope so, that would be a welcome detail to upgrade
As much as I love the movie, Jeff Bridges' CGI mug looked pretty bad back then, let alone now![]()

The blu-ray always has, right?Read somewhere this will include imax shifting ratios
Oh possibly I can’t remember. Been a few years since I last watched it. Just they made a point of this including itThe blu-ray always has, right?
They do, yes, and they're in the original source file - which the pr blurb for this said they revisited to remaster this, so my assumption was the 4K will have the imax ratios as well. The blu-ray always has, right?
Nolan’s films always get the imax scenes incorporated into the home releases, at least since BD.I wish the IMAX scenes were always included on the disc for any movie that has them. I wonder what they'll do with The Odyssey next year, since the whole film can be IMAX ratio.
Because Nolan controls every aspect of his releases.Nolan’s films always get the imax scenes incorporated into the home releases, at least since BD.
Awesome, love itRead somewhere this will include imax shifting ratios

I wish he cared about art design on steelbooks and premiums.Because Nolan controls every aspect of his releases.
It would be a legitimate concern, except the imax ratios are already included on the 2D blu-ray, so it shouldn't surprise anyone to see them on the 4K copy. They're part of the source files. I don't belive there's a home video master without them.I think the question being asked about Disney including variable aspect ratios is completely legitimate. None of the Marvel films with them have made it to Blu-ray or UHD they are all exclusive to Disney+. Fede Alvarez was quoted in an interview before the physical release of Alien Romulus saying he wanted the expanded ratio presentation on Blu-ray and UHD, did the release have it? No. They seem to like keeping them as a special for their streaming platform. I know the Legacy Blu-ray had them, but that was a while ago that that came out. Great if this has it, it would just be interesting to know what the policy is.
