The reason I asked is because I've heard they supposedly did some work on Clu specifically. Remains to be seen. Cause yeah, the rest is flawless still.
I didn't read that, r.e work on clu in legacy. I only ready effects work were done on the original. I may be mistaken, though.

[There were rumors prior to the disc’s release that the CLU de-aging effects in this film had either been redone, touched up, or otherwise improved during the remastering process. But after close comparison I see no evidence of it. If any such work has been done, it’s incredibly subtle.]
Wasn't Prey a VERY limited release, not going to SO MANY retailer as those two TRON went?I ended up paying 100$ on eBay for it
And now I get a delivery update from Amazon for my order. I guess the issue may just have been delayed production

I've also missed Prey SteelBook and really wanted to have it (with a reasonable price, of course).
At first it was very limited and sold out everywhere it’s the reason why I got it on eBay, but I don’t remember which store(must have been BestBuy) but it came back in stock. I don’t know for how long, but it came back in stock as I remember telling myself “well at least I didn’t take the chance and got my overpriced copy

So, in the end, was just one store/retailer, and sold fast. For PREY it seems like there was some release for the UK but I didn't dig further into it.
Yes I was upset that I spent that much for it, I could have waited longer to see if my pre-order will
eventually get shipped but I don't have much hope. Plus, everytime I order something from the Us
I mostly will end up with a damaged item. I'm just Hoping its just some sort of Delay that is happening with
this release and the listing will pop back up on amazon.com. I am very skeptical that Disney would
release so few of those Steelbooks. This is a VERY HOT item, I can't see Disney not wanting to cash up on this.
Just finished watching this transfer - WOW! Video and audio are the best I have experienced in a long while. This movie deserves a better SteelBook treatment given the production quality (the set and production design are timeless - might a tad better than the recent Dune movies), story and direction are all top notch. I have forgotten how entertaining this movie is and given how much I enjoyed the F1 movie, it was no surprise that both films share the same director. It is also a shame the music and soundtrack composers are no longer together nor are they on the new Tron Ares movie.
The variable aspect ratio transitions are much welcome for the expansiveness, details, well timed and applied. And the Atmos audio is incredibly immersive and itself very effective in the story telling with its surrounds and steering. Like the echos in the vast dining room during the dinner scene, the flyovers, the light bike race, the final aerial battles. Just need to crank the sound level up a little and let the sound track take over. The Daft Punk beat is addictive and deeply recognizable and the percussion bass is so ever present and tight to match the storyline.

There are now 3 Joseph Kosinski movies in my all time top 10 movies - Top Gun Maverick, F1 The Movie and Tron Legacy.
