View attachment 6580In this thread, you voiced your opinion. I passed it on to all the powers that be and Hi-Def Ninja's voice seemingly has been heard.

While I cannot say they have switched from landscape (horizontal) to portrait (vertical). I can say that the quality of this batch is heading into a MORE than acceptable and reasonable solution.

There are some cheap, done horribly landscape titles out there. But there are also some magnificent must own ones as well. (Monsters, DE - Book of Eli, DE come to mind)

Here is the news that makes me excited to see what these all will look like regarding this wave. I would rather have quality made horizontal's then the exact same art from the German wave.

they may well be able to do internal artwork on these too which combined with the removable taco card with the tech specs on should give these a very polished look. There may also be some debossing on some of them too, I’m imagining the title treatment but I don’t know for sure.

I've also been given a sneak peek at one of the titles, so let me know what you think about this one and the others if given this level of art quality for the rest of the wave.

If you like, chime in with which titles you'd like to see debossing on this wave and who knows ... it might just happen.

This actually looks really good. Of all the Landscape SteelBooks that I've seen this one is the best looking. AWIL is a good movie to boot too. I hope they come up with something just as good for The Incredible Hulk.

Don't get me wrong though, I would still rather a Portrait as well too Biscuit. They did a good job on this with no labels and the London landscape so we'll just have to see about the rest.

I actually like the horizontal look as long as the art is done right. Its something different, and changes it up a bit. I have yet to own one but I will be getting The Thing and Incredible Hulk for sure, those two should have some embossing on them too, pretty please!

Great choice with the horizontal ones! Universal already did it in Spain with DVDs a while ago so I'm used to that (and the artwork chosen was great and it looked awesome!)

I'm beginning to think that I may change my mind about the horizontal SteelBooks. The AMIL looks great. I hope that they do include inside artwork because the cover art that they have chosen was going to be my inside art.

If the artwork is good with embossed or debossed, I do not mind if this is vertical or horizontal. The finishing must be glossy as well.

If this AW looks exactly like this with inside artwork, I will surely buy it.

I'm liking the artwork for AW in L. Still wish there was inside artwork, but i guess i can't complain too much if the rest are a good looking as this one is.
