The hairline scratches look particularly obvious on Ric's photos.

I inspected mine carefully expecting to see the same but I'm glad to report that it's 100% scratch-free, so there are good ones if you guys with scratched copies decide you want to try getting replacements.

Is returning items for a replacement straight forward with ES? I might see if I can get a scratch free copy.

That's definitely not worth £24.99. I remember paying around full price for Man of Steel and the quality is the same, and it was still a lot cheaper!
 
Not sure if I'm blind or I just got lucky, but I can't see any scratches on my copy. I'm happy with this release overall. :)

EDIT - In the right light I can now see 1 or 2 faint lines running across (horizontally) the middle of the steelbook and even one running down (vertically) the left side... the vertical one is actually more noticeable on mine.

I think this one has the best artwork too bad that the "3D" wasn't sticker but I think the best finishing goes to FuturePak... jeez to bad we couldn't have it all in one steelbook...
