Can confirm steelbook is as picture my HMV had a banner in window promoting the release plus an actual steelbook on display with the banner. Looks like a matte finish. P.s ordered a copy in store didn't charge me anything payable on collection.

There's one on display in my local HMV too. It was matte with no 'bossing. I wanted to check for back and inside art but I couldn't pull it out of the casing so I can't be sure it will look like that on release.

Can anyone confirmed that this release also have the extended version ?
The Taiwan version stated it have extended version.

It says 'Harder Extended Cut' on the front?

Anyone else hoping the 'Harder Extended Cut' will make this a bit more watchable 2nd time around. There were too many 'one liners' not in the film but were in the trailers so I want the trailer dialogue back in the film.

I assume a 1 or 2 disc edition with discs on the right, so you would see the artwork on the left easier. Even so, I'm sure there's better art that could have been used!

On eBay someone got a buy it now at £39.99, in the description states have spoken to HMV who advised that only 2000 copies of these will be available. Better get myself in store and buy one.

What's the deal with this movie folks? I have heard mostly bad press on it. Even most of my friends say that #5 is just not the same as the others and that the story is super convoluted. Is this worth buying just because it's a cool looking steelbook?

Isn't that the main reason we buy steelbooks rather than amarays? As for the movie, it should be called A Disappointing Day To Die Hard, but that might be a challenge to fit on the steelbook.

I asked at my local HMV in Guildford and they advised me they are getting 140 copies.

My local too - just down the road! Glad they're getting a few in, may need to pop in once its released. Hopefully they'll have them out early next weekend!

So the person who said this was limited to 2000 was clearly wrong if Oxford St alone are getting 500 copies. HMV have never been great at having the right knowledge so I'd even take their estimated stock numbers with a pinch of salt.
