that can't be real, right? What can be the reasoning for the 7 heroes on the inside art? Gamora and Black Widow, but not Star Lord, Spider-Man, or Dr. strange? Why 7? I could understand if it was maybe the original Avengers..but, it's not.

I think it's been selected as a reasoning for showing a varied number of characters coming together across the MCU. The selected images being put together don't make a lot of sense in terms of the bigger more solid story and feels a little randomly selected for no other reason other than to simply provide a diverse group of heroes from all over teaming up together.

Spoiler

You have Gamora who plays a more central role stepping out of the Guardians and her whole relationship with Thanos.

You have Thor, Iron Man and Cap and Hulk who are the 4 original Avengers and all integrated into the story in different ways throughout the film...
The Hulk and Banner struggle with himself, Cap leading an army, Iron Man taking the fight to Titan and Thor creating the new hammer to attempt to stop Thanos.

You have Natasha who is probably just on there to represent Shield and the upcoming.

Finally you have Black Panther who is central to the war against the black order in his native Wakanda, one of the prime locations of the movie.



It does also look a little odd when there are 3 on one side and 4 on the other.

Vision, Spider-Man and Dr Strange would make more sense than Widow, Cap and Black Panther. Inside would still look horrible though.

I quite like that... would also prefer a title on there, but as far as Marvel WWA steels go, it's not a bad effort.

Would be cool and I personally think it would work better if they just embossed the gauntlet, then debossed the small area around the stones and then keep the actual stones embossed so they are raised. But then that would mean a border going through thanos’ face

Unless they did something like they did with the zavvi civil war lenti steel bossing (maybe the border going round the gauntlet so it’s raised that way) and it don’t have to go through his face

Look forward to seeing this one in hand, I just hope the finish isn’t rubbish and all territory’s have full gloss

I wish they had just the inner 5 - that would be a very nice tribute to the OG Avengers. Gamora has a big role so somewhat make sense, but Panther really doesn't fit. As you said DrS or SL should be next in line. I suppose they just wanted some diversity

Last time with Black Panther, it became live on BBY.ca after the official press release from Disney. Which didn't happen yet for Avengers yet so in my book, there's still hope...
