Ditto. Plus I already have this on preorder (which is gonna be huge, but I guess I’ll figure out what to do with it after I get it).It really does look great - I just can't pay that much for a set I already own. I'm sure this will become a grail given how nice it is and how low the quantity is.
$600
I must collect in a different league! The steels I buy are usable - a hobby if you will.
Collect, open, watch, store.
Surely at these prices it then becomes an investment rather than a hobby?
Assuming here that you are a sealed collector?
This looks amazing all around. Looking forward to check YouTube unboxing videos when it’s released in 5 years.
Totally agree!yt videos in English are hard to come by for these premiums. They're usually uploaded by Germans. I mute the audio if I'm really interested in checking out the packaging. A lot of these guys waste a lot of time jabbering on before they even get to the good stuff. It's annoying.

The Lost Boys Cinemuseum was preordered a while ago but has not been released.Aftermarket prices, pops. You want something bad enough and you have the means, you go for it. Paypal's Pay-In-4 scheme helps, though I also grabbed Blade Runner, Leon and LOTR sets for insanity-level prices. Looking for The Lost Boys Cinemuseum but nobody wants to give those up it seems. Part of the allure is the packaging but I do watch the films lol.
They did something original with the backs on both, but it's a valid question why not do all-new art, like backs of the first one on front maybe, and thus just one big set instead of two. They must know such editions buy those who already got everything released before. Ev-ry-thing!Some originality would have tempted me but this is an easy pass. I get Cinemuseum doesn’t do WEA steelbooks but they could have done something with the slips.
I bet it’s a studio requirement. I’m surprised they actually are allowed to use alternative posters on the backs. Most premium retailers don’t get to do that, very few examples i can remember of. Manta’s OUATIH one click art by Tony Stella is one example, but really hard to recall anything else of that kind. They did something original with the backs on both, but it's a valid question why not do all-new art, like backs of the first one on front maybe.
Unless the studio required them only use one of those for the fronts indeed.
I'll be shocked if it's less than 2 years, particularly for the variant with the scale model and chest.Decided to put an order in for this one, and I'm surprised that it still available on their website considering the low quantity. It's my first order from cinemuseum, and I'm aware they are notorious for long delays, so just wondering if anyone has any ideas how long this is actually likely to take? It says 8 months on the product page, but I'm guessing that is ridiculously quick estimate.
Congrats! I intended to put in an order but forgot to do the local time conversion, and whelp here we are. I hope it arrives sooner than expected for you.Decided to put an order in for this one, and I'm surprised that it still available on their website considering the low quantity. If it's the variant boxset with the model you're after, it is still available with king of steel media I believe. The lenticular boxset is still up and available directly from cinemuseumCongrats!
