Spine slash on both my copies, as well as on my copy of Brave. The second Zavvi finally get the finish right someone has to screw it up. I thought we were past this by now

Despite the annoying spine slashes, I have to say this is one great looking Disney steelbook. It's nearly perfect (I would have preferred something more dramatic on the back as contrast to the front), and they did one particular thing right which imo is a problem with most of the Disney steel: a clean title without painted reflections and highlights. Even Cinderella does this: Instead of using one colour and gloss and let the light create the natural reflections, they have just added the same decorative details that was intended for a a flat dvd sleeve. To me, that really makes the a steel look more plastic. So I was happy to see that the Bambi steel just let the metal/gloss finish do the job.

Just received my copy of this today and guess what? Another spine slash :(

I'm trying to talk to someone on Zavvi's Facebook, since they really help costumers :D

Please let us know how you get on with that, KazuyaGon. I'm two for two so far in terms of spine slashes and am losing the will the live, slightly.

I turned to eBay yesterday and spotted that some enterprising seller was selling one at £30 and advertising it as NO SPINE SLASH. That made me smile.
Anyone on here end up with a non-slashed copy that they want to offload at cost?

My replacement copy was A1. Thank god. I had visions of getting multiple copies before I got a excellent copy. Love the image of Thumper on the back cover.

I think both this and Cinderella live up to the quality of Aladdin. I cant believe both of these are still in stock. It might be because so many customers have left from buying steels from zavvi that is causing it to stay in stock. IMO once they go out of stock people are all of a sudden going to be chasing them.
