My replacement copies of Bambi and Cinderella turned up today. A1. No spine slashes so the only slasher move I now have is The Freddy Kruger collection...............

This is a big problem lately about zavvi ...
I have received, Bambi, Cinderella and Brave with slashed spines...

PS: Sorry for my bad english, i'm french...

I thought it was just me, at least I had Cinderella OK, I think
I'm going to go check!

My Bambi turned up and I avoided the spine slash, whew what a relief. So i got pretty lucky 2/3 avoided the spine slash and only Cinderella had but luckily is was faint and only noticeable if looking for it.

No spine slash thankfully, hurrah! But another manufacturing fault has occurred. Looks like a graze. Have emailed Zavvi about it hoping for some credit deducted, returning it would be futile and will probably end up with a spine slashed copy instead.

The copper hue on this embossed title is just amazing! Reminds me of the North American version of The Lion King. Too bad it had a spine slash

I love this steel. I didn't open my copy and don't plan on it as I have the amaray with slip, but this was a great job done by Zavvi. It's stunning to look at. Truth be told, I'm not a big Bambi fan, and it's one of my least favorite Disney's.

I just received my second copies of Bambi and Cinderella unscathed by the phantom slasher as all of my first batch had been butchered. I'm just wondering if anyone has noticed if the Bambi artwork is slightly misaligned to the embossing.

mine is,but I Didn't feel it was worth communicating with zavvi over as its been 2 weeks and I haven't received my cinderella refund yet.. bambi hasn't got a spine slash.. just the title misalignment.

Phew after my 4th attempt finally got a spine slash free copy of this (as I ordered 2 copies), so there are damaged free ones still available.

After three weeks my copy of Bambi finally arrived. It doesn't have a spine slash per se, it does however have some slashes... on the spine...

I've had all kinds of damage to steelbooks before, but never one quite like this.

At first I just thought it's the shrinkwrap, but I've moved it a bit and it's definitely on the spine.

DOH! That just doesn't look right. Cut through the outside wrap and can definitely feel it rubbing the spine

Upon further inspection, I noticed a spine slash on one of my copies. Re-ordered another and will be hitting up Zavvi support for assistance.
