I think that might now be metropolis after the events of man of steel.
After Wayne did have offices there.

He looks like he's on the other side of the river or ocean or whatever it was (that we was saying is dessert) where that massive machine was from man of steel. Looks like the water has dried up and gone anyway.
I'm a bit more up for this now

I know they caused some serious damage in Man of Steel, but that image looks apocalyptic, so I reckon something else goes down in this film to cause it. Forgot to mention that I recognise the symbol in the sand now that I have my glasses on lol... I remember it from the Injustice game, but couldn't remember the characters name so just had to Google it - it's the Darkseid Omega symbol, and he's apparently the ruler of planet Apokolips (maybe that's where Bat's is in the sandy image?!) and is hellbent on taking over the universe and removing any semblance of free will, so he could be the "larger threat" they were referring to!

See the trailer again and the scene where superman is using his eye beams whilst flying you can see the city around him on fire and blowing up. Not sure what city it is but it seems gritty (when batman dodges with his grappling hook) so it could be Gotham.
You see a few other scenes with the city on fire and going to hell.

So that photo might be after the destruction and extinction of Gotham or metropolis

Seems like there's an all-out war in the film, and I can see them exploring other cities/countries/planets, so I expect a lot of those places will be getting blown to smoosh lol. Would be cool to see Snyder's version of Gotham though!

Would be very cool. Thing is with Snyder at times is he likes to be ambitious and achieve big things (sometimes too much) in films and I think that will be the case with this film (like watchmen and sucker punch just has so much going on but I do love watchmen. Sucker punch not so much) so i think this will be jam packed. Maybe a little too much but interesting to see how it will turn out and what's going to happen.

Also looking forward to his version of Gotham

Snyder's the king of action movies IMO... I love every single one of his entries into the genre, especially Watchmen and Sucker Punch. Watchmen is a perfect example of how well Snyder can handle so many big characters all at once, so I have no concerns about that with BvS. Just read a few articles on the new images mate and they all keep referring to the desert one as being a dream/nightmare/vision, which is what I read a while back about that particular scene in the trailer... I'm not sure why they're all so convinced that it is a vision of some sort though.

I like all his films but in honesty sucker punch is his weakest for me. Had no real story, stupid music video parts and OTT on CGI but at the same time I did like the action. And they were hot too. Oscar Isaac was the best thing and was the only one acting in it.

It's genius and amazing, acting is top notch too and I remember a friend really hated it and called it too ambitious and I agreed it was ambitious but the ambition paid off for me. Thought he handled the world, characters and stories back and forth really well (but that don't mean if a director can do it once he will do it well every time and I think this might possibly just be a bit too much..... "Might") I hope not though

I'm really surprised by that because like you said there's no giveaway in the trailer that it's a dream plus you see batman fighting people and then the whole mask thing.

Not sure what to think now about that scene lol not once dream/ vision popped in my head. I'm so intrigued

Soundtrack was good but the visuals did my head in.
Basically I like half the film lol

Yeah Emily browning is quality and great looking but her acting wasn't too great in it. I watched legend the other day and she was good in that.

Jesus what more are people expenting lol looks like 4 films worth of characters, plot and destruction. It will be jammed packed, i just know it

I just can't see how they will introduce Aquaman and stuff. Think those are the kinds of characters that could ruin this world. But then im also not a Wonder Woman fan and think that looks awful too. Looks like marvels elektra.

I don't think any of them will be as bad as LS but you never know. I think the justice league characters we will see will have speaking parts except maybe cyborg. We might see his creation or something.

Fair enough, all the serious mega fans will have a better idea. That's sounds plausible though. Him believing the vision is the future and if that symbol represents that villain you mentioned and its just there in the middle then it could be a dream sequence and him seeing random visions. If that's true then it's very similar to age of ultron with Tony and the visions and then a big villain Thanos.

They're promos for Civil War, so I believe the one on the far left is meant to be Falcon.

If you look closely, the eyes on all of them have some sort of connection to each character (Falcon - bird, Black Widow - spider, Captain America - shields, Iron Man - him flying, Ant-Man - ant, and Hulk's I can't figure out lol). Strange that they've added Hulk when he's not meant to be in the film though.

After what I've read about hulk in Thor 3 it makes sense it will be a Thor stinger at the end (or dr strange) also read that hulk might have a bit more talking in Thor 3 (plus Thor 3 will will be the final to compete the Thor trilogy!!!)

They remind me of something Matt Needle (artist) would do... very clever designs, like you said.

Haha yeah, Cap's look pretty weird. I think Iron Man is probably my favourite. Would love to see them do something similar for DC characters.

I don't read much about Marvel films nowadays, so I don't have a clue what's going down in Thor 3 lol. As for Hulk's eye... all I keep seeing is a shoe.
