Apart from all the major Marvel fanboys, the critics are literally the only ones I've seen saying bad things about BvS so far (I have only seen comments on social media and this forum though FYI), so something tells me the critics weren't paid enough to praise the movie this time.

Snyder hasn't made a bad film yet IMO... Man of Steel is easily the best Superman film out there, 300 is a classic, Dawn of the Dead is one of the best remakes that I've seen, Sucker Punch is tons of fun and full of awesome! His weakest film would be Legend of the Guardians, but even that was still very enjoyable. I personally think Watchmen is his masterpiece though... not only is it one of my favourite comic book movies, but it's one of my favourite movies period.

No amount of negative reviews/ratings for this movie will make me any less excited to see it. Unfortunately, I probably won't get the chance to see it in the cinema, but will buy multiple editions once it's out on Blu-ray. :D

IMO some one IS paid enough to praise this movie :naughty:

sucker punch is the crappiest crap there is. IMO

Okay so i saw it yesterday in IMAX 3D ....
I'm still digesting the film, may see it again or wait for the R rated cut, I was actually nervous going into it something I never am so these 2 meeting on screen to me was a
big moment.
How did I feel after?
I liked it? Not loved it or hated it, the critic reviews filled me Dredd going into this and I had my 10 year old son with me who's autistic so the 2 & 1/2 hour running time worried me.
I think a lot of what critics said about editing and dialogue was true but it didn't detract me from the film. I wonder when the R rated cut is released if it will fill in a lot of the gaps.
What I liked-Lois & Clark, Alfred, Perry, the Justice League intros, Batfleck, supes and WW (although Gina Carano would have been better, you saw Deadpool right cmon)

What I didn't like- Batman killing! Nope sorry I don't buy it this whole pushed to breaking point, Batman does not take lives(and hates guns) that's just my opinion but when Supes kills anything goes I suppose. Eisenberg as Lex I'm sorry but they still can't get Lex right the best incarnation for me is Clancy Brown in TAS. (Also check out the Batman/Superman Animated Movie it's better than this. Also Doomsday cmon he looked like an Orc from LOTR ffs.
Also parents of small children may want to get this it's quite dark and intense and some may find it boring which is odd when you think about it as studios love to market merchandise to kids. How's this different to a kid having a punisher lunch box I don't know.

There's quite a lot to take away and I do wonder if the 3hr cut was released instead of the edited version it may change some critics mind.
The main thing is its going to big, massive, maybe not beloved like TDK but people should still see it. I think fans need to view this less of a Batman/ Superman flick more an intro to the Justice League.
In regards to the JL I don't think Snyder is going anywhere with filming commencing in less than a month that train has already moving and there ain't no stopping.
people who hated this may to accept the fact that they may have to wait 10 years or so for a reboot to maybe get the version they want. Let's see Ho JL turns out the jury's out on WW and I'm looking forward to Aquamamoa, Ezra's Flash (not bad btw) and a solo Batman film, as I think watching this you can tell that Affleck had a hand in the direction for the batman.

Sorry for the long post, my boy liked it but preferred MOS and cannot wait for Civil War.

I just got back from seeing it, oh my, its was awesome. Sure had a few issues but im confident the Ultimate cut will answer those questions that i was left asking.

Recomended, the critics are obviously smoking crack! Hard to follow they say? It was easy to follow especially if you know the source material.

Got myself a nice embossed tin and a awesome cup from the cinema too :)

if some one disagrees with you they are smoking crack ?

some problems critics note is that it's bloated, so ultimate cut (even longer cut, if that's even ever gonna come out) is gonna resolve the problems ?

IMO critics raise good points,
IMO 'fanboys' critizize critics, but do not have any good points, but 'it's so cool' and I got 'a awesome cup'

LOL and WTF ?!

I need to get one of those cups.....

We watched it the Odeon IMAX in Milton Keynes, and in the final fight scene the screen went a bit crazy for a few seconds at some crucial points so after the movie went out complained and got some passes to watch it again.
Love the part when this kicked in

Have you seen the movie? Do you know the source material?

Im a fanboy? yes i am, i'am a "fanboy" for comics and movies in general, people act like being a fanboy is a bad thing? Well its not, im passionate about my comics and my movies.

The problem is with the critics is that like you said its 1 persons opinion and gets heard by many which in turn convinces people that havent even seen the movie its bad without them even giving it a chance.

Alot of these critics are not fans of the source material so in turn dont understand half of whats going on in the movie, i would love to sit down with one because being a fanboy i would have some very good points to bring up to them.

I mention that i got a tin and a cup... So what? Its awesome that i had a great day with my girlfriend and got some cool cinema memrobilia to bring home, You obviously are a misrible git who is negative about everything and likes trying to start fights with me about whatever i post about BvS in various threads so im putting you on block. Final word on the matter.

0) being a fan boy is not a bad thing, I am one, it just clouds ones judgemend every now and then.
1) if critics give negative review and you decide it is bad movie because of that, you do not have mind of your own. get me ?
2) so you have to be fan of the original material to be able to give bad review ... and you DO KNOW that critics are not fans of the original material, how ?
3) pls do bring up your points, insted of blocking me ???
4) I obviously am ...

I'm happy you and your missus liked it. for me it was a bore fest. and yes, I have read F. Millers 'dark knight returns' ...if you refer that as original material. could have mentioned it. tho ...

End of the day, people will love it, people will hate it. Its too dark for some but perfect for me, i like my DC movies dark and brooding and this movie is the start to my favourite universe, the DCU.

Its a superhero movie, its supposed to be escapism and awe for a few hours which is what this movie was for me.

Is it a perfect movie? No, did i enjoy it? I loved it and thats all that matters to me personally.
