Why not? I'm sure group buy participants will happily foot the bill for the added 'convenience', at least that is what we are lead to believe is the purpose of these group buys.

If anyone thinks you can run a site the size of this nature on GB fees a lone then you of course have never ran a site of this nature. ;) If the answers you hear are not from myself, DB or Andy then they didnt come from HDN. People like to put their spin or twist to what they think are good answers or correct answers, but that doesnt always mean they are even repeating what is told to them. I appreciate the kind comments tho for those that realize FIRST HAND that these GB fees DO HELP fund this site's technical operations.

Nothing in life is free. I was once apart of a gaming forum and the members donated thousands a month to pay for the site fees. We have a donation option here as well. People can sign up for it if they like and you know how many people are signed up to it right now? 1 person. But that doesn't make me mad at all , not even disappointed I'm known to be a cheerful positive dude... its all good, we're surviving the site is operating. This isn't my day job, and contrary to what anyone may believe we arent rolling in the dough lol. When this becomes my day job (and in 7 years it hasnt... guess what, not gonna happen!) then I'll be the first to tell you all.

And when I bring my fat American butt to the UK next year I expect a beer from all you moaners for all the nights I stay up working on this site for all you lads! :p:thumbs:

is that expecting too much? Or should we raise the fee 1 month prior to my visit so I can just "buy you all" beers.... with all that extra money I got rolling around.

The idea/goal is for HDN to have a small booth at LFCC next year. That and hope to plan some cool meet up for Ninjas in the UK. I'm going to work hard to make this happen. I've already got a Ninjas house that I'll be staying at so that also means ... more beer money for you all!

Brilliant news not been to the LFCC, funnily though I've cut back on buying comics to put towards steelbooks

if your referring to the GB changes where quantity of steelbooks are limited - I think its a perfect compromise = no hate here

More of a generalisation on everything really bud.

When qty on a GB is gonna be very limited then maybe splitting it in two, or doing a Mondo style 'random' drop could be a good call

so long as we dont see anymore deadpool fiasco's and things are fair, am all for it :)

GB's can work to our advantage - I remember only being able to get a Frozen 1/4 slip direct, then an hour later a GB allowed me to get the lenti I really wanted, and my buddy had the 1/4 slip as she missed out completely - perfect sign of the forum working to the benefit of its members, perfectly :)

If you decide to split the GB between continents as Wreck mentioned earlier, such North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia, then this would impact how many you are going to release for that particular GB, in otherwords who has more fans and collectors? Are there more collectors in the eastern side over the western side and vice versa. You may consider factoring that in. If that gets all too political then first come first serve for two different time zones on two different GB's.
