I believe the steelbooks have some slight differences, the German one has some German text at the top.

Not identical. The German steel has a bit of German writing on the top like Inception.

I guess I can rest assure that this is the HMV edition afterall!

I don't think it was ever worth much money anyway. A couple of ridiculous auctions, but that was about it.

Mine went for just £13.5 two weeks back. It had a tiny paint loss though. Now a similar looking copy went for £31.

I managed to get this one from amazon.de for under €10 today, along with inglorious b for under €12.
Ok so not the hmv exclusive however it's pretty darn close so I'm happy anyways
