Zavvi cancelled my order

What??? Why??

Received e-mail from Zavvi that they do not have enough copies, and cancelled my order! :-(
This is like the airlines overbooking passengers, and then bumping customers. I sure wish they would honor these pre-purchases.

That stinks! I'm just waiting for them to do the same to me with Elektra, having agreed to send me a replacement for my dented copy whilst it was still in stock (at least, according to their website). If they say that they don't have any left to send me a replacement, then I will have a real go at them for not putting one aside at the time they agreed to do the replacement. Amazon at least send you a replacement straight away, and then charge you if you don't return the original item (after a specified period of time).

If you're in the UK*, then it might be worth dropping a note to the BBC Watchdog programme (https://ssl.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006mg74/contact), as they just love these poor customer service type stories!

* although given your spelling of 'honour' as 'honor', I suspect you are in the US?

Aww man, that scenario absolutely sucks when you loose out if you don't sort out the new payment really soon after receiving the email. This is a good steel that you did not want to miss out on either. Bummer.

This is definitely not one of the best fims of the year. I doubt I well watch it again for at least another year. Could have been a great movie if they woud have had a better director with an unlimited budget. Terminator is going to crush this one.

I am a sci fi nut and I love all the Terminator films. Like I said this film as not the type of films most people would call good.

Just walked out to the mailbox and my copy finally got here....and I am pleased to say it is PERFECT. No sline Splashes, paint chips or dings. So happy. Now I'm off to watch it.

Really? They usually give you something like 48 hours to correct any payment issues. Seems like a convenient excuse to cancel some over-sales (i.e. where they accepted more sales than they had stock to fulfil).
