I'll 2nd that - not a film that interests me, but a fair bit of steel has passed through my hands this year en route to far flung Ninjas and this is one of the few steelbooks that had me genuinely thinking 'wow' - cracking artwork

Spot on. From the outset it was clear this steel was only going to appeal to a small section of the niche steelbook audience. Not a strategy that was ever going to lead to big sales. Even with ES hitting a home run with the design (which earned it it's spot in my top 10 for the year).

Agreed, and all combined with the sheer amount of steels released this year, even releases that should have sold out are struggling and will be around for some time yet.

Just my luck... I held off on this hoping for a price drop, but finally caved just the other day and bought it for £15 - the day after I receive it they lower the price by £5! Oh well, you win some you lose some.

If you are a classic sci-fi fan I'm sure you will love it. The TCM Original Documentary "Watch the Skies" that is on the disc is amazing and worth the price alone IMHO.
