What would be the point in collecting if everything was always available?

There is a middle ground between 300/700 copies and "always available".

Still, maybe with the 1xcopy per person rule, this'll be less of a problem.

Also, personally I collect steelbooks because I like how they look. I try not to let rarity impact my decisions (though they do factor in somewhat). Anything can be "rare".

the frozen combo pack slip and 2d slip will be fantastic lenti..will we be given a chance to vote like Thor 2? cant wait for this to go live..

Didn't you read the OP properly? There is no price for it yet (or release date, or artwork or live date or.........) Basically we know fu*k all mate!;)

I did read the OP. But there have been many Kimchi exclusives in the past. Based on the past pricing history, one can deduce an estimate. Math is not hard.

If its so easy why couldn't you figure it out for yourself? ??

Because I've never bought anything from them in the past and have no idea how much their exclusives usually cost. If I did know, I wouldn't have asked. There are others here who have purchased Tangled, Thor to name a few....just waiting for them to chime in.

I purchased both versions of Thor @ $45/ea and went with the more expensive EMS shipping @ $27.50. Total cost of my order was $117.50. Hope this helps.

Do you think this steel will sold out less quickly than thor , juste because its only 1 per person < thor was limit to 5 ( 3-lenti and 2-1/4 )

Doing the math:

1000 copies in 11 minutes. If we assume every order was the max (i.e. 2 for 1/4 slip, 3 for lenticular), then there would be about 150 + 234 = 384 orders at 11 min ~ 1.7sec/order.

For the first round of preordering, I think Choi mentioned there are 500 copies, so it would take approximately 500 orders * 1.7s = 14 minutes to sell out. In the second round of ordering, it's the same restriction as with Thor only with half the copies, so ~ 5-6 minutes. So from this calculation, you have a total ~20 minutes, which is a little more time but not much.

However, this is an overestimation because not everyone ordered multiple copies for Thor. In all likelihood, you will probably have less than 20 total minutes.

Assuming instead that only 1 out of 4 people ordered the max, then there would be 263 + 584 = 847 orders in 11 minutes = 0.8 sec/order.

Then in the first round of preordering, it would take approximately 500*0.8s ~ 7 minutes to sell out. In the second round of preordering, again ~6 minutes. So total is ~12-13 minutes, which is about 1 minute longer than with Thor.

Simple answer: Yes, you have more time, but only minutes at best.
