I knew it!! now this will be mine (MINES), KimchiDVD all the way, been a fan right from day one and I'm down with them all the way :scat:

Im glad its 1 per customer, gives me a chance to get 1 of each at cost. Its not a movie i would of chosen but im sure kimchi will do a grand job.

I'm definitely going to do my best for a lenticular copy. Don't want to get too excited about it yet because if I miss it, the let down will be worse.

This set looks amazing. However, do you think there is a chance that this will have a gloss finish like Tangled or will it be the same steelbook sent to places like Zaavi with a matte finish? It would still be worth it with the Lenticular slipcover and extra goodies. If it is matte, I guess the only gloss version would be most likely a Blufans exclusive.

My suggestion for Lenticular - Characters and title 3D effect (Closer than background) :scat:

with out the characters would be better IMO
simple and stunning :)

Honestly I'm fine with the same time like previous. It might be early morning but I'm still able to get an order in. The only sacrifice is being half asleep at work.
snap.
then again, I'm lcuky that if I'm at work its no stress jumping on the site to order

I hope the lenticular image is basically what is shown on the OP. Keep it simple.
+1

Great News, anyway I don`t understand why kimchi always makes 2 versions. With a popular title and a low print run of only 1000 copies I`m sure 1000 copies of a lenticular version would sell out very fast as well. And I guess this way we would have less "angry" fans who missed the item.
I like that they do - I love the 1/4 slips be so far have opted for the lenticular slips due to preferring the artwork of the slip vs the steel (I display most of my steels front-ways)

any idea when pre order start ?
this is what I'm dying to know also

Again Blufans will do a better job, pass.
couldnt disagree more.
For the price they charge, I'm yet to see the appeal. Kimichi, general Korean and Taiwan releases have been far superior IMO.
Only exception being Wreck It Ralphs arcade lenticular slip - that WAS nice. Bt the steel? Nah, Zavvi actually got it right IMO.

Any chance to have a poll for lenticular slip like Thor The Dark World Kimchi?
I'd be game for this :)

This is gonna look so good next to the KimChi lenticular for Tangled. Too bad they never released a Wreck-It Ralph, too. I'd love to buy all of my Disney Animation Studios' films from KimChiDVD.
agreed.
Though the FS Snow White and Sleeping Beauty steels are probably on par with my Asian owned steels - only Tangled so far in the Disney arena.

Im glad its 1 per customer, gives me a chance to get 1 of each at cost. Its not a movie i would of chosen but im sure kimchi will do a grand job.
agreed.
As much as I would love a spare for trading, I'm more than happy to score just one for myself (and knowing HOW rare these become I held off getting 2 Thors as I felt it wasnt fair for others)

still, best system in place to give options to suit as many as possible IMO

Hm, not a big fan of the ultra-limited 1000-runs for steelbooks. There are more people than that on this board alone! It seems unnecessarily stressful knowing that if you miss the 15-minute or less window for purchase, you'll have to pay ~$150-200 on the market for a copy...

What would be the point in collecting if everything was always available?

I would even push for even less. The fewer around the more prestigious it is in your hands the collectible you have.In the steelbook world, the less the better.People are crying foul all over zavvi's claim of print runs. This is something you will never have to worry about dealing with Kimchidvd and anything else out there that is numbered. It's all about that these days and moving forward if reputation and respect is what you'll want to earn.
