It looks good but I can't help thinking that this will have one of those magically changing finishes that starts off gloss, changes to a sort of glossy matte, then spot gloss before ending up as a full matte finish.

Some were happy with the Walkman steel, some are happy with this steel, some will be happy with future GOTG steels... everyone's happy!

Please elaborate on why you preferred this to be debossed?

Just personal preference, not a big fan of having a border (would rather it just flat and glossy in most circumstances). The flimsiness and popping is also a turn off.

Think it was more the flawed design rather than the fact they dared to be different (at least this is how I viewed it...)

The fact they used the incorrect Walkman than what was used in the movie was a big flaw, as well as the fact there was no title on the spine (yeah, i'm a stickler for titleless spines...)

Add to that the fact the buttons on the 'walkman' were the wrong way round as well, and it added up to a bit of a disappointment ultimately (although in fairness, it is a nice looking steelbook...)

I'm really pleased that they've gone with a form of the poster art.

I'm hoping for full glass to make those bright colours 'pop'
Maybe a debossed title too, but nothing too complicated.

This looks great, never bought a blufans or nova Steelbook, what is the quality of them usually like they look very professional.
