This is sooooo repetive, @digitalbabe is there nothing you can do to get this thread on track so people who actually want to talk about the actual items

Otherwise it is just groundhog day over and over with the same thing over and over

How about this then?

It's reported on another site that only 500 remain of this particular ZBOX (out of 1,000?).

If that is the case I'd imagine when/if these sell out there will be minimum of 1,500 standalone 'Iron Man' steelbooks to go to market.

If the print run is 4,000 then you do the maths.

Thing is, the Zbox has nothing to do with steelbook collecting, absolutely nothing.
It wouldnt be quite as horrible if the Zbox was Iron Man themed, but it would still be really really bad, just for the single reason that the concept of the zbox is completely unrelated to the steelhobby. Its pure bullsheit...

As so many has said already, its a marketing scam to get their sheitboxes sold, nothing more, wether some buy the box just to get the steel or not.
If you buy it, its may very well screw everyone else over if they continue with this. Its shouldnt be encouraged.

100% agree.

That's assuming that the print run is not limited to 1000.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, as I can't be bothered to trawl through 36 pages of this delightful thread, but there is ONE GOOD THING that I can see in teaming the steelbook with the ZBOX.
"What is it?" you may ask -

Well, It gives everyone that wants it a FIGHTING CHANCE to buy it as it would be 'Sold out' by now as a standalone

There must be many more people interested in steelbooks at this time than there were when the Play.com 'Iron Man' steelbook was released and who were not around to pick it up for 11 quid (or whatever it was priced at) and who would like to buy this edition as that edition is now priced well beyond that of most other U.K. steelbooks on the secondary market.

As we all know this steelbook would sell out in double-quick time as a standalone thus depriving those that wanted it of a good chance to order it - they might be at work, away from the computer etc.

Of course they will have to pay extra for the privilege but for those of us who have the Play.com 'IM' and who don't consider it a matter of life or death to own this I for one am happy to wait until it is offered without the box though I expect I'll be away from the computer when it goes live and I'll miss it . . .

Members are talking about the actual items, and the thread is cleaned up periodically from some of the over the top venom and rudeness, rest assured.

I think if this does well despite the negative comments they will do the same for iron man 2 :)

No, nobody - OK, I'll do it = 3,500

Must be more than 1k print run on the Zbox? The first ever was announced as a special 1K print run with the statement that this will increase.
The last Zbox sold out without the steelbook so I think that there's a good chance this one will.

Has anyone received the "Free Lucky Dip Zbox" email yet? Get a free Lucky Dip Zbox when pre-ordering Renegades, the catch apparently is that if you've ordered the Renegades + Steelbook then you can't get it. Seems a bit 'off' to me.....

The only email I got was when your order the Zbox you can get the free lucky dip Zbox

There was no mention of the Steelbook combo in the email

It's on the website only for the Zbox only
The offer of the Lucky dip Zbox It's not for the Zbox/Steelbook combo package

Lucky Dip :LOL::rofl:
Who can have mentioned that before cant think who that was
