Today I officially announced the pre-order date & time for 2nd round

London (United Kingdom - England) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 13:00:00 BST UTC+1 hour
Seoul (South Korea) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 21:00:00 KST UTC+9 hours
Vancouver (Canada - British Columbia) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 05:00:00 PDT UTC-7 hours
New York (U.S.A. - New York) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 08:00:00 EDT UTC-4 hours
Paris (France) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 14:00:00 CEST UTC+2 hours
Corresponding UTC (GMT) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 12:00:00

-1x copy per slipcover (2x copies for slipcover was sold out too fast like 7 min, That's why kimchi put more restriction for quarter slip release)
-5x copies per lenticular

here is technical problem solved so far

after you pay via paypal, you will automatically return to main page of kimchidvd and you can go to order page to check if your order is completed.

(previous kimchi, does not provide automatic payment completed by paypal, only kimchi handle one by one to complete order by manually matched with paypal transaction. it's kind of big burden and many problem happened)

and another announcement for shipping

Small packet is removed, K-packet applied for all of item sold in kimchidvd
K-packet is slightly expensive than small packet but there is lots of benefits

- Printed slip with tracking number
- End-to-End tracking with delivery confirmation (No lost shipment)
- Reasonable cost than EMS
- generally takes 5-15 days (EMS: 5-10 days, Small packet 15 -35 days)

but some member are curious why kimchidvd changed shipping method

From T2 kimchi release, Kimchi handled more than 1,000 box to ship out to post office KR, this is a big volume of post office KR to handle only for one store.

so post office does not allow kimchi to accept small packet any more :(
and asked kimchi to change K-packet rather than small packet due to too many package in one or two day.

after changed of k-packet, pack & shipping process is much more faster than small packet and very reliable shipping method in terms of tracking.

even now, some of member did not received T2 kimchi after shipping process done at 26th June because no tracking available for small packet.

1 or 2 steelbook for shipping charge between small packet & k-packet is only difference around 2$

please kindly understand kr post office policy for massive volume of shipment like over 1,000 boxes and more powerful tracking for lost shipment protection.

Thanks

Update #2 7/10/2013 from Choi:

5x limit per order for lenticular

Last first batch was

2x limit per order for 1/4
5x limit per order for lenticular

Not over reacting at all. If this had been a rush job of a steelbook then I'd say I was over reacting, but when you see Kimchi's releases of T2, Monsters Inc and Tangled all of which had something that little bit extra and made them more justifiable to the price tag to then see their second exclusive delayed twice and then eventually get released with nothing is a major let down and in my opinion I feel slightly short changed by this

At a guess I'd say the fact you are still waiting for yours to be delivered is actually the source of your frustrations. This isn't a go at you, just trying to understand.

I agree that we should have been updated - however ...

- Choi doesn't work for Kimchi, so has no obligations at all
- Tony doesn't post on here
- The website never included the extras listing - they were only mentioned here. Thats why I think the price should not have been lowered.
- I personally would say Kimchi over-stretched themselves recently. The delay with LGB coincided with Tangled and MI, so they (Tony) would have been incredible busy - things slip the mind when you're busy, and I honestly believe that Tony had forgotten that the original post contained the extras.

So hold off until you get the package and look forward to seeing the Lenticular in hand (I know I'm doing the same)

:)

The delay in delivery doesn't bother me in the slightest. I've already voiced my frustrations with this release and I'm not going to type it all out again.

I know Choi doesn't work for Kimchi, but he has always posted on Kimchi's behalf to give us updates (if you see 90% of the time it's me who replies to him first thanking him) and it's a shame he couldn't get clarification for us on the extras.

At the end of the day I'm fighting a losing battle here as 90% of you guys won't even unseal it :)

I totally understand your feelings, but if you look at the Kimchi website, all the releases (apart from LGB) either mention the extras or have photos of them.

I'm actually starting to think that the extras might have been mentioned as a 'possibility' in a conversation, and this site was updated before anything was confirmed. This is the only place I can find the extras mentioned, and the fact we have never seen photos of them kind of proves to me that they were never going to be included.

Not trying to piss on your opinions - trying my hardest to make you feel better :)

cooey - How does the info in the OP of this thread differ from the final received product? Just a question...

It's nice to get a bit of a debate going in all honesty :)

I'm not bashing Kimchi or Tony at all, I'm just a little let down as I love my T2 exclusive and the art cards that were included in that were a really nice touch, and then you look at the likes of exclusives 3 and 4 you get a much bigger package (wahey!!) overall, to then find exclusive 2 is just a standalone BD steelbook. You can't blame me for feeling a little underwhelmed by it. But like I said, once I've got it in-hand, I will more than likely feel different about it

Just pulling from your posts, there is a difference between a 'Major Let Down' and 'feeling a little underwhelmed' :D

Yay you're calming down. In another 10 minutes, you'll be posting this is the best release ever :hilarious:

This -

Exclusive contents: Artcard with dolphin holder for the ALL copies.
Extras items: Photo Cards or Booklet (TBC)

I know these were never guaranteed but like I have said when you look at exclusives 1, 3 and 4 and what they came with, I had hoped for something similar again, that is all

All you guys that got your order in are just lucky you are getting this beauty....eventually. I'll probably have to submit to a rectal stretching over at ebay to get it.

No, friend...there are Ninjas that can help you out with fair prices or fair trades. I help when I can and sometimes a fellow Ninja helps me...that´s what it´s about imo.
