And Leo gets the shaft AGAIN! Don't get me wrong, Mathew McC did a great job and lost all the weight (blah blah blah), but had he not had to, I don't think he would've won. In fact, I thought his cameo in Wolf of Wall Street where he portrayed the cocaine and masturbation addicted stock broker was more Oscar worthy...that was spot on! Other than DiCaprio, there were others in the category that should've taken it. I am, however, glad that Jared Leto won. He deserved this above all others BY FAR.

Can't comment on Best Picture because I haven't yet seen 12 Years or a few others. Of the ones I have seen, I thought it should've been Wolf of Wall Street though....biased much???

Best pictute 12 years slave

Best Director: Gravity Alfonso Cuaron

You're right on the money! But once again... Leonardo didn't win! He must be cursed! Though I have not seen Dallas Buyers Club, I did enjoy Matthews great speech! I'll be purchasing that and 12 Years a Slave on Tuesday!

I called everything, but was wrong with Best Actress. Cate Blanchett taking that was a surprise to me. I was very happy for her, though.

I am most ecstatic over Steven Price winning Best Score for Gravity and then Frozen taking Best Animated Film and Best Original Song for 'Let It Go'. I was SO pumped! :scat:

This year's 'In Memoriam' segment was hard for me to swallow. I still can't get over the loss of Paul Walker and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I definitely shed a tear. And then there's the great, late Harold Ramis... man, will I miss that guy. Kudos to Bill Murray for his beautiful little tribute to Ramis. That definitely choked me up. :(

Overall, it was a great Oscars this year. Ellen did an awesome job hosting and congrats to her for crashing Twitter with her amazing selfie.

Very predictable Oscar-show this year (again)...

Only thing that surprised me just a tiny bit, was Lupita who won for her role in '12'. I really thought "Academy favourite" J-Law would win.

I managed to watch 8/9 of the Best Picture nominees and a lot of the films in the other categories as well, so it was a lot more fun to follow the show this time around. :)

Chuffed for Frozen, my 3 year old twins love this film to bits and are always singing Let it Go and playing as Elisa and Ana. Cant wait for the steelbook to be released.

Gutted that The Wolf didnt pick anything up though
