Bit of a strange one but it says 3d on the disc but I can't find any option on the menu for it and when you play movie is still has no option for 3d, nor does it in scene selection, set up or special features

Yeah I think there has been a mistake with the disc. The option is knowhere. I don't actually own a 3d TV but when a 2d film has the 3d on the same disc the option is usually there just don't let you select it. Maybe someone with a 3d TV needs to check but I've been looking for a few minutes now and nothing

Just found this on the jcard - "You can view the feature in 3D on the blu Ray disc if you have a fully capable 3D HDTV or 3D blu Ray player on PS3".

Technology nowadays
So I guess maybe the blu-ray detects if you're using a 3D capable TV and if so enables the feature? Interesting.

I don't have a 3D TV, but if no one has figured it out by the time I get home this evening I'll take a look at the blu-ray in MakeMKV to see if it's got multiple video formats or not.

So the disc has the 3D Bluray icon, and it says in capital letter in the fine print "YOU CAN VIEW THE FEATURE IN 3D ON THE BLU-RAY DISC IF YOU HAVE A FULLY CAPABLE 3D HDTV, 3D BLU-RAY PLAYER OR PS3, AND 3D GLASSES (NOT INCLUDED)" but no actual 3D?

it is both 2D and 3D on 1 disc, just checked. You just need to use 3D button on your TV remote to switch between 3D and 2D

Isn't that just converting 2d into 3d? I thought if you had a 3d TV, the player (either 3d blu Ray player or PS3) will recognise it and add the 3d option to the disc menu.

Something don't seem right about all this
