I would recommend to order direct on Turbine's shop, great company, easy to deal with customer service (had a disc once that wasn't playing and they shipped me out a replacement within a week from Germany to UK) and you get points you can redeem for discounts, just got two of these for just above £30. They always package well too.

So if it doesn’t sell out (unlikely in my opinion), it will appear on other shops on / after release date.

Not sure about a price drop, but I'd recommend ordering from Turbine directly.

My last order was the Cool as Ice 12" edition. Arrived within 3 days. Well packed and no additional customs charges to the UK.
