What a shame to hear that after all the lenticular cover isn't any good. 
Some lentis have movement and that's excellent but some have spectacular depth eg MM Wolverine. Either choice is ok with me. But to have no movement or depth is a fail in my book. I don't buy the excuse that it is restricted by the surrounding steel. They could have designed the art better in that case. Sometimes people are not being too fussy. They have a right to have high standards and expectations.
tried ordering this on amazon.fr but site says the shipping costs are 9000 EUR! anyone else have a similar problem?

The back on this one has amazing effect which imo makes this a better steel than the other white one. I've added detailed comparison shots. I think you'll agree. France wins.

I think german MM lenticular is the best version. Next is french lenticular version which is true white. Worst is HMV version.
The White French one is indeed a nice steel. I got It yesterday (with Justice League: Doom steelbook)
The Dutch version that I have (yeah ... we got a steelbook over here,
amazing
) is like the English one; A silver-ish color. Not the nicest one though.
Maybe one day I buy myself the German MM version as well (and the German
Extended version of X-Men Origins Wolverine), because I like the front of it (and
I collect Superhero Steels, among others
