I hope this is not numbered, unless they plan on releasing them all in Steelbooks to complete a matching set :hilarious:

They also f**k up the numbering too.

Disney UK have Wreck It Ralph as number 51, but in the States Winnie the Pooh is number 51 and WIR is number 52.

We also have The Wild as a Disney animated classic but in the US they have Dinosuar
:dunno:

This is because while the idea of a numbered set of 'Disney Animated Classics' is great, in practice it has become a marketing ploy. The American list is the 'official' one in this case. Winnie The Pooh was not released on Blu-Ray in the UK due to "poor performance of similar titles", and so Disney UK effectively dropped it from the collection, making Wreck-it Ralph 51 instead of 52. The Wild isn't even an in-house production, so why it was given a number in the UK is just baffling.

This has to be one of the Top Five films I'd want in steelbook and my favourite Disney film. Was going to get the amaray on Monday as I've been wanting this to come out on blu ray for ages, had only been thinking earlier it was a shame no steelbook was announced, can't believe it is, too good to be true! Come on Zavvi, hurray and get a pre order up

Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides too, if we're counting their live action films too. ;)

Don't forget Who Framed Roger Rabbit either! Or War Horse and Avengers Assemble if we're doing live action ;)

Apart from the Lion King I haven't missed much then! Looks like the Disney/Pixar steels are still in their infancy so look forward to this release and many others in the future!

There hasn't be a Lion King Steelbook in the UK, so you've missed nothing (in terms of Disney animation) ;)

Cars 2 (and possibly Cars 1) is the only Disney animation I can recall that got Steelbook.

I hope they release them all, would love a Disney Steelbook collection. Wreck pass it on to Zavvi!

With a small hint of "Big Trouble in Little China" Blu Ray Steelbook! Would love to get my hands on one of those bad boys!
