I ordered this immediately after it went live again on Thursday but still no despatch. Anyone else the same?

I ordered a copy at 7.35pm on Thursday evening and I got a despatch e-mail at 12.19pm Friday lunch time.

Received my True Detective steelbook from Amazon in a cardboard mailer, not a stress proof box.....
Same mailers as used by Amazon US..........

Never had a card mailer from then except on cds and I use them weekly and have done for many many years.

This is not only most likely Steelbook of the Year, but possibly THE best looking Steelbook ever.

I agree. they have put a great amount of effort into making something that will look special and unique. in a time of full slips, lenticulars, post cards and all the other dressings around a sometimes average steel, this doesnt need tinsel, baubles and flashing lights decorating it like a christmas tree- the steelbook alone is fantastic! this is why we collect steelbooks, it showcases what can be done with a steelbook.

what do you mean, they will come form the same Print as it is a share Print Run. It will be the Exact Same Steel as Zavvi just packaged differently for the german j-card

well it looked like the box was kicked around the warehouse and someone took a hammer to the steelbook

I feel my stomach churn a little. Especially when i'm opening the really expensive titles. If Zavvi's customer service was top notch I wouldn't worry so much.
