I got the below email from Entertainment Store last night after enquiring about what they had lined up and it seems to be a clue pointing towards a forthcoming release. Really cool way of dropping details about their releases and hopefully this one comes out next!!

Fingers crossed! I assume it's Forbidden Planet from that pic. If anyone has any other guesses then shout

Hi,

There are some fine, exclusive Super SteelBooks available to Pre-order at The Entertainment Store very soon. Can you guess which classic movie this is?

Another one for October? ****ing hell, that makes 26 UK Steelbooks by my count in October. EEK! :(

Superb film, gorgeous looking cover, £14.99 (take a look Zavvi!!!), what's not to like about this exclusive.

I have ordered 2...one to keep sealed, and one to open. It's just too gorgeous looking not to open one!

Looking forward to this one landing on my door

Brilliant, not long to wait and a fair price.

October is very crowded for me though. I wonder if they will have a limited to 4000 sticker for this one?

Love the cover art but this is too old fashioned for me, not into really old movies. Anything pre 1977 i cant stand.

Really surprised by the price tag, instant order! Guess I'm just too used to Zavvi pricing :p

This is same price as the catalogue titles Zavvi have released, I don't see the difference. I also don't see why Entertainment Store are getting praised for charging a reasonable price and not a rip off price like everyone expected.

I'm merely jesting, I was just making a light hearted comparison to the cost of Zavvi Disney steels, which of course owe their pricing to well... Disney! :)

Some comments on this forum regarding pre-1980s cinema just astound me. So cinema only got good with Star Wars did it? No love for The Godfather or Lawrence of Arabia, to name but two of many brilliant films made before that date?

I'm all for people having opinions but that's just nonsensical and irrational.
