mine should be at home when i get back from HMV it had better be sealed im alsready unhappy about the printed ratings logos and the blu ray banner looks wrong on this also.

Just curious - any word if there was a problem with the discs or something? Such that the steelbooks were opened and something was replaced or added to the package?

If that's the situation - I'm kind of surprised that they were not resealed, though.

Well I have just seen that I have another from Amazon due as well. Having just spoken to them they are aware that if it is not shrinkwrapped they will be getting it back. They are checking with Indigo Starfish to check stock to see if any shrinkwrapped, have aasked me to hold over the weekend.

hmv,i always order my steels from them if it's a general release.less chance of damage in their boxes.

Occasionally Amazon UK also sends unsealed items. For Amazon, they have a QC procedure where items are opened occasionally deliberately. Over the last 10 years they have offered a partial credit if this has happened. But I am not familiar with HMV's policy. Perhaps you can inquire?

Amazon seemed very understanding especially when I pointed out that they would consider it open/used if they received it back like this. Also I said that as it stood I considered product not as described as it was not sealed and they seemed quite happy with that. Son is returning all of his HMV's with covering letter for refund under distance selling regs.
HMV have said they'll replace but only want a minty open for viewing purposes.

As Surfury says, I've just boxed mine up and sent them back. Ordered from Bee. Not happy as they wernt mint or sealed. The HMV ones have there 'picking' sticker straight on to the steel. That's not right.
All returned under dis.seller and faulty, to there free post address for a full refund.
Proof of postage in hand. Fingers crossed the bee ones will come through soon...

i recieved my hp from HMV today it was unselaed with the sticker on the steel but im keeping it as i would of opened it anyway and two fortunately it is mint not a mark on it lucky i guess.

I ordered three copys from play.com i dont open any of my steelbooks so they all better be sealed.

Second one from Amazon received today, dented and scratched much like the one from play.com which was also received today. This release is an absolute nightmare and total disgrace from a release point of view.

Think sealed copied are going to be very thin on the ground as it's an "online exclusive".

FS is just too expensive I think (but still might jump on it). I want a copy to play as well so have a couple coming from bee.com which jimmy intimated are sealed. Just hope they are.
